no. but your allergies are unfortunate. at least you can look at them through pictures.
aah, flowers! I have some rather fierce allergies, so I haven't spent a lot of time with them, personally, but I do find them wonderful to look at. one of the small marvels of life, maybe. do you have a favorite? to grow, or just to look at?
You sure love to ask questions, darling. I love nosy people who ask too many questions for their own good, it almost makes me think that you're a papparazzi rather than a... roboticist, was it?
Well, about your questions... I was adjusted to fit and adjust myself more to matchmaking processes, and it was NOT my choice. I do like all the hearts and all the pink, but I like to mix it up at times. My process is a secre, and I already love myself, and I think that is enough for me, don't you think? No one looks at me as lovingly as my own reflection does. [They pull out a pocket mirror and stare at themself for a long while].
and another one! how fantastic! you're just wonderful, too. two matchmaking robots -- how very, very interesting! were you made for matchmaking, or did you choose it yourself? do you like it? can you tell me about your process? do you ever hope for love for yourself, too? I can't say I know much about all that. so please, tell me everything you can! I want to hear about it all.
Oh! I am? I mean- wow! We are like neighbors! I am glad you think so, eheheh… well!! Uhm!! I was made for love, yes! I just love love. It makes me feel all dizzy inside! I make matches because I want everyone to feel this too! Does this make sense? Oh, uhm… I also like music. Disco! I like to dance! I… think I chose this! Yes! Does this answer your questions? I hope so… [she pauses for a moment.] You make robots, miss? If there are any like me, one day, do you think I could…?
oh, my! you're beautiful! marvelous! I was originally born in norway, too, you know -- isn't that funny? say, was matchmaking what you were made to do, or did you choose it for yourself? do you like it? are there other things you like to do, too? and if so, did you pick those out, too? ah, I want to hear all about it!!
I've seen enough of your sorts, both in and out of the books. Though, I really couldn't care less about your story— just leave me be, yes?
Hello! I’m Florian! That’s my name. You’re just like me - we’re both quite tall! But you work with such little things, don’t you? What do you feel towards them? Is it love? Or hate? If you love them, can you love me, too? If you hate them, can you hate me, too? I won’t know how you feel either way. It’s okay to give me anything.
... hm. assistants are important. but I usually work alone. what sort of disciplines are you familiar with? when you assist.
I can understand it, some people get stressed by having others around. Chemistry is the discipline I dedicate most of my time into, but I'm also familiar with astronomy, geology and a little bit of optics! To be a good assistant requires knowing a bit of everything so there's not a specific field/discipline I am clueless about.
... sure. I guess. I'm not one for all of that, really, mister guî. stories. I prefer to deal in fact. everything that happens after that isn't really my business. you're free to record what you see, and call it what you want. I'll do the same.
Does life interest you, Carmelo? We have always had a deep fascination for it ourselves, though we suppose that human life is what truly engrosses us. What compels us to record as many stories as we can... Do the microorganisms you study have stories of their own? They must, mustn't they? Vastly different, and yet, perhaps similar to our own... We know that the viruses and bacteria that live in us have quite the story. Would you like to know it? You wouldn't be the first. But you'll have to tell us your story first.
... evenin'. I'm alright. that's not surprising. it's a bit niche. microbiology. I've met funeral directors before. just a few.
good evening. how are you? i've never met a scientist in your field before.
... I prefer the small. the small is contained and easy to manage. going door to door... no. I'm not looking for new employment, Miss Doe, but thank you. for the offer. I won't turn that down, though. the coffee. if you'll have some, too.
Microbiologist? You study very small life forms. I am most interested in very large life forms. Macrobiology could be a synonym for anthropology. Oh. Your title is very fun. It leads to new ideas. How would you like to join my company, Mister Garcia? We take perfect care of our employees. Big ideas come in small life forms. Have a nice day. Would you like a cup of coffee?
