Roe is overwhelmed, tormented by the corrupt's magical ability of forcing a feeling of sadness and doom to anyone in its vicinity. She's not alone, though, with others succumbing to the effects too. No time for bonding over their similarities as more pressing matters need attending to. Perhaps after the storm had passed, a friendship could blossom. For now, they must come together and fight their mutual threat.
Kivo has recently gained even more corruption. Not only is his physical self affected but his mental state is now paying the price too.
