magical girls (and boys, and adults...) fight against nulls; mostly free form with occasional large events as orchestrated by a mysterious magical.

Pokéstopia (def not the title, i just haven't thought of one)

inspired by some of the recent rumors plus 

essentially, hundreds of years in the future, the world is a dark, awful place where team rocket (or someone else) has taken over the world. Pokemon are a hot commodity, hard to find in the wild. In fact, the only pokemon to be found require hacking into PC Boxes and accessing pokemon left behind after their trainers of bygone era have died. 

dark, gritty post-apocalyptic play, kinda have a plot, mechanic is that the pokemon you get is at the mercy of the RNGGods (with choices, i'm not that mean).

so uh yeah. which would you rather play?

I've got a magical girl server that's currently in the works... that might be scrapped for a post-apocalyptic pkmn one because pokemon switch rumors lol  

Aiight so, I understand a lot of the admin team is working on actual paid projects and TH is supposed to be a product of love but...

TBH, I'm not sure what the best fix would be - more mods, a stringent adhered escalation and warning system for users, deleting all but the most important forums all together? 

All I know is that something needs to get fixed because the community doesn't feel welcoming when users can be banned on their first offense and others who have proven to be instigators and all around awful and misguided people get a slap on the wrist and continue on the site no questions asked.

I feel like I can't in good conscience say Toyhou.se is a welcoming community to people I give codes too. I now hesitate when suggesting platforms to people who want to post their OCs too because, while the site itself is great (and the updates in the last few months have made my fucking day), some of the users on the site are just absurdly nasty. Let's take Vark as the prime example - they state that they will block anyone who is bigoted, a bunch of random things-phobic and expect that anyone who blocks them is one. But a lot of people block them because of their shit attitude and hypocrisy  (because nothing says that you're a bigot like not even wanting to interact with a person who thinks that all Nazis shouldn't be punched on principle) so I just...

Idk. I just want some changes because endless drama isn't what I signed up for.

I didn't sign up for a site where one post can get you banned, no questions asked.

I didn't sign up for being ridiculed and called a mini mod while trying to help users since there wasn't going to be a timely mod response.

I didn't sign up to do the job of welcoming users, trying to help fix their problems because mods are absurdly absent. Like honest to god, we only see minsu and the admin account maybe 1 day a month. Maybe 2 or 3 if we're lucky or have a help ticket that fixes a site wide issue.  

I know mods can't be on every minute of the day, even if you have a world wide team of them, but honestly. At least talk to us more regularly, weekly updates would be fucking nice.

I sure as hell didn't sign up to defend the site from its detractors, to promote it, but I do it anyways because, even after all the shit, I still believe in the site. I believe in the community it could have and the people I met.

at work we're starting to test

and that's been fun. frustrating but fun. i only work weekdays and not too late in the night so, it's an upgrade.

i'll be updating character tags and stuff soon, but everyone labeled goodbye i'm gonna start taking offers on.
i just really want to cut down on OCs i don't use, get them better homes, and then focus on a core group of characters.
or 126 total profiles on toyhou.se (that's 7 pages).

speaking of, i'm going to actually buckle down and make profiles (and then back up profiles). my goal for may is to have at least two dozen done.

every character has a new window near the top of their profile that lists its status. they can close (thanks vom).

by june, i want to get 「Fadasafara」 written out, get an idea of the species, and then look for an artist who wants to help be the core designer for them and help sell adopts.

I'm interested on thoughts on traits, more, etc. I've got two (Well 3, I just purchased the rights for a new one!) And I'm interested on actually working on them a bit, expanding them and, eventually, monetizing them. 

It's just hard and time consuming hahaha. So thoughts, ideas, questions (I am always up for answering questions about my stupid ideas)
