Hinode 日ノ出

" the light of dawn "

A (somewhat modern) Japan-inspired D&D 5e homebrew. Cultivated by the gods of Takamagahara when the world was yet young, Hinode (日ノ出) was named for the first rays of the sun that highlighted the seven islands of the realm, a central plains that would soon become the playground of many flourishing beings of all races.

Steeped in ancient tradition yet also curiously industrious, Hinode these days is an anachronistic place that finds itself beset by the wonders of modern technology, its creator's penchant for name puns, as well as the mysterious vanishment of a would-be spiritual leader near the time of his wedding, alongside the re-emergence of a demonic plague.
