"He's reliable. And strong. He listens to me when no one else will."
These two, despite their vast differences, are like brothers. Wyneth had taken an interest in Seamus' eccentricities when they were kids, and Seamus has been following him like a lost puppy ever since. Wyneth's actions may be too brash for Seamus' liking at times, but he knows that everything Wyneth does comes from a good place.
"There is much the world you would not understand, but I feel honored that during such a troubling time, I am at his side."
Although meeting under circumstances that could best be called odd and could more honestly be called Vincent being held hostage by an underground branch of the Speedwagon foundation, the two would come to be remarkably close. Vincent being rather reserved and preferring to not interact with the majority of other stand users, works as a behind-the-scenes liaison to help Johannes achieve his aims. Unknown to nearly all is that the pair, using Vincent's abilities to gaze into other "dimensions" and Johannes martial prowess, are encroaching upon a final goal... the removal of stands and the freeing of people from their unseen influence.
(Maybe also has a little crush,,)
"We are gay as fuck."
The longterm lover of Eli who would come to be his closest confidant, and the reason he never truly understood the horrors of the Empire/Order that surrounded them. He was devastated with Kealus's untimely death and hopes that someday, the galaxy would allow them to be together again.
We gay as fuck
Augustus has become incredibly close to Jinaki as they have served together, and indeed one could say that she may even have deeper emotions for her guard hidden. While she does understand her friend's concerns about cooperating with the Sith, she reaffirms them that it is only for the good of the Republic to ensure that in an oncoming war that unnecessary men.

Closest friend and loved. Jinaki had great respect and a close relationship with her superior, Augustus, and acted quite protectively towards her. Jinaki cared greatly for her but was concerned about Augustus' turn towards the Sith, but no matter her words or conviction, Jinaki couldn’t seem to get through to her… Secretly, she harbored feelings for her, however she felt she would never be able to confess due to Augustus’ status.
"Reports indicate Akupara frequents the Mariana Islands, domain of the titan Tongshi. Initially thought to be a migration, she will visit at least once a year, often times more. Though typically territorial, Tongshi appears to have made an exception for Akupara. The two titans appear to have a close bond, and bioacoustics studies reveal they communicate with each other often. More research into this possibly symbiotic relation is needed."
"Tesha can talk about Brax forever! Brax is so smart and kind and fluffy with the cutest laugh-"
Tesha is head over heels in love with Brax, and shows it very outwardly. She loves to bring him back trinkets from her travels and tell him of her exploits; he was one of the few people willing to listen to her long-winded tales. She adores much about her life, but she treasures Brax above all else (except, perhaps, her children.) The two of them lived a very long and happy life together full of pure, innocent love.
"Tesha hopes Mister Kierter is doing well. Oh, and the porg Tesha gifted him too!"
Tesha's first meeting with Eli was saving his life. While bringing him to safety, she showed him great compassion and tried to ease his pain any way she could. The two stayed in contact and remained friends for the rest of Eli’s days. She always enjoys when she can get him to smile or laugh.
"Oh, Tesha! She's such a sweet thing, she is the one gave me my first ever ports. Just, make sure she doesn't get into too much trouble."
Even if their first meeting was far from ideal, with Tesha having to do d.i.y. surgery, the pair would come to be remarkably close. Her kindness and compassion is what he truly needed to help heal from a period of severe mental decline. The two stayed in contact throughout and past the end of the Second Galactic War, with Eli helping to make sure that business continued to come her way through his rather wealthy connections. She's the therapy animal-alien-fluffy person that he needed, and damn does Eli provide a lot of good wine.
Kida has a tumultuous relationship with Eli. At first she despised him (though she did her best to hide this), but over time the officer grew on her and she would consider him a friend and come to respect him somewhat despite their extreme political differences.
"Ah yes! Callen's girl. She certainly is a character isn't she - think uh, she tried to remove the safety railing on my station. But, certainly something else was wrong with it!"
The pair never did get along, even though Eli put that to her mostly not understanding what he was attempting to explain. In actuality it was because Kida was a rebellion spy, something that he would never come to know. After the birth of her first son Cyrus, the relationship between them mellowed and Eli was always willing to lend a hand. It is a shame her life ended when it did, for it is her death that affirmed Eli and Callen's reliance on the Empire.
"I-I know you may not understand him at first, but give him grace."
Even though Eli remained always closer to Cyrus' brother, he still cared deeply about the young child and always tried to be there for him. Unfortunately, the Order took away Cyrus before any meaningful relationship besides a mutual respect and comrodary come from. As the war goes on, Eli regrets not standing for Cyrus, feeling partially to blame for the man they ended up becoming. Attempts to after the war build a more healthy relationship with Cyrus, even if he is rather uncomfortable about the red woman often in their company.
*between intervals of crying* "Baby-baby boy. The world has been far too harsh to you."
Love, pure - unadulterated love. Eli's love for Dalton was all encompassing and ever growing, as he took on a parental figure to the young man soon after his was born. Due primarily to the death of Kida his mother, and Callen's lapse into a period of illness post the battle on Endor. He views Dalton as his son and raised him as such - although the engineer likely did not intend for him to be so uptight when around others.
When it was thought that Dalton died in a military excursion in the Outer Rim, Eli was absolutely devastated and fell into a period of depressive rage that could argue to be psychotic, although with the First Order's warped way of being and enabling his rage as being valid, it could is debated. With the assistance of General Hue amongst other leaders, he helped organize the destruction of the ___ System, starting the Second Galatic Civil War. When soon afterwards Starkiller Base fell, and he was captured by Resistance troops and set to be executed - Eli thought he truly had lost his mind when a familiar face (yet slightly more beardy) appeared to help him escape. Dalton - now going by Ahri, helped him to a secure medical facility and the pair would remain in quiet contact throughout the rest of the conflict.
After Kealus was publicly executed by Kylo Ren, when the Sith sought to purge the ranks of those he thought to be "weak", he would rejoin the crew of the Silver Fish. He continues to urge Ahri that there is good in those like General Hux, and helps organize a way for others to gain a new life that he had to fight far too hard to achieve. Still adores Ahri like a son, even if the younger man is sometimes uncertain about their relationship or the galaxy as a whole - something Eli tries to console with the reminder that there is good in all.
Growing up, Dalton idolized Eli and saw him as a father figure. He aspired to become much like Eli; high ranking, intelligent, and charming. As a young adult, his attitude remained much the same. He tried (and failed, mostly) to act like Eli, and spent most of his free time being tutored by him.
When Dalton learned the truth about the Empire and First Order and became Ahri, he became genuinely terrified of Eli and shut himself away. Even the thought of Eli and how he once idolized him makes Ahri sick. Even then, he can't bring himself to hate Eli.
"I dunno man, I distinctly remember you guys thwapping away in the office when I stood guard all those decades ago"
"Don't listen to a word she says! Fedony is a remarkable woman but you'd more easily get the - uh truth out of..."
Despite their basically opposite personalities, Eli and Fedony would come to often work together due to their peculiarities of coming to want to know the folks around them. They do care about each other, even if Fedony likes to hold it over his head that she's the first one who realized that such an important "military figure" was spending a few too many nights in Eli's quarters. The two come to be some of the few First Order officers who help those within wanting to flee the growing tyrannical leadership, even if the desire to do so came from wildly different places.
Shocking they haven't either died yet, although the amount of shot challenges they do may cause some to question that. The pair are the dramatic wine uncle and whiskey chain smoking aunt that can be found on a $5 margarita night.
Closest friend. Many people mistook them for brothers due to their similar appearances and close bond, and later in life they did consider themselves to be so. Callen could always count on Eli to confide in among all the other officers and trusted him completely. He was very grateful to Eli for helping him cope with his wife's untimely death and assisting him with raising his children. He never felt he deserved Eli's company but appreciated it nonetheless.
"There is no one I trust more within this galaxy, and I feel a great honor having raised his children."
Close friend, if asked, Eli would just call him a brother. Most people often assumed as such anyways. While initially, he saw him as a good candidate for a recently engineered artificial limb, during this trial time, the two would come to e rather close. Fortunately, with the assistance of Eli's boyfriend (then husband), Keels, he helped ensure that for the majority of the war, both Callen and Kida would remain safely out of reach. When this did eventually fail, he would come to be a surrogate father to Callen's two sons but always felt as if he should have done more.
