Main Story

It can be hard to see what's out of the ordinary if you're not looking directly at it. In Petrichor, West Virginia, it's a little easier to notice, and it's becoming even easier day by day. Most creatures aren't trying too hard to hide, and everybody knows to how to keep safe from any that aren't benign. Mostly common sense, like staying out of the woods after dark, keeping a piece of silver on hand. Simple things.

In the past, a goddess kept the more harmful beings at bay, resigned to the forests and outskirts of town. But she's been gone for quite some time, and the barrier she once formed weakens without her presence. It's thin enough now for stronger sorts to slip inside.

The transparent little town of Petrichor is a place of interest to the higher planes, and now it's open wide for their inhabitants to enter. Things are going to get weird.
