turns out! it was a stroke!
i'm doing much better right now, i'm still figuring things out. there's defintely a lot of things lost in the process and my mind is still unfortunately muddled and i'm beating myself up more than i should. but i don't really wanna vent about all of that here skdjghdskfjghsdkfjgh i was fortunate with the type of stroke it was if i'm being honest and fortunate with being alive! everything is still frustrating and i do feel set back so much. but i'm trying to be even remotely positive.
i'll still remain scarce though! i check here every so often and am mostly on my personal twitter more than anything. but still if you need me, please feel free to reach out or reach out to hadesaligned!
i still do need to organize and hopefully sell OCs / designs not in use because i haven't been working since it happened and my drawing skill suffered after the whole ordeal. so i might not be pushing out my own designs any time soon. but. yeah!

i had to be hospitalized for a while and i'm not doing so hot as i'm still waiting to see what's actually wrong with me. so i still won't be on here as much or on discord unfortunately.

sorry i've been radio silent for a while! moving out of state has really taken a toll on me that i'm still going through the motions of. so my headspace still isn't the best in terms of managing but ksdhgfkjhdfg i want to try to be a little more consistent with trying my hand with adopts/customs/etc-- mostly because i just want to skdjhgs but i will also be opening sketch commissions again, so if that's anyone's speed-- bcuz times are hard but dskhgsdkjghdskjh please look forward to that!

SPOILERING BECAUSE i hate talking about my personal issues because i know i'm not the only one rn whose struggling
i really hate saying this but i'm having way too much financial trouble and now my dentist is telling me my insurance isn't going to be taken because they're out of network and are telling me i'll owe them $2,000+ USD if i go thorugh with my appointment tomorrow (which i was really looking forward to because this tooth is so bad but.) and with everything i've just been struggling with my healt so bad that i can't even force myself to go to work some day so my income is really not great right now + all the debt i still owe, i feel like i'm drowning.
ANYWAYS i'm not confident in my fullbody art nor chibi art; but would anyone be interest in portrait adopts? i'll probably drop down prices a lot even though it pains me to say because i just really need as much funds as i can get right now since my commissions aren't doing well! (understandable because i'm a REALLY slow worker + everything that's going on i barely feel like i have time for my school work or even time to rest. so my backlog is months out.)
i'm still gonna try to make chibi designs too. i want to try a gacha but idk how well that'll go so i wanted to try small first.
the current portrait adopts i have open haven't been doing well, so i'm a little nervous. so if you guys have any adopt ideas, i would gratefully listen!

NOT SO MUCH A QUESTION OF MECHANICS— but a question about how you guys design your characters that are more armored than not! I know with like scale mail, it could just be underneath clothing. But I’m struggling with Astraeus because visualizing more traditional fantasy armor has never been my forte.
So do you guys stick to more traditional designs like armor for your paladins & clerics, etc. Or do you “rule of cool” it and just design them as you want & just say they’re wearing armor & just deal with the mechanics when you’re playing?
Also….. this is a pass to show off your D&D characters bcuz I want to see them 🥺

BUT ANYWAY trying to work on owed art since i forced myself to have some time bcuz it's been... a hot minute but dskjhgs
extremely frustrated with how my art is coming out recently & i try to placate the desire to improve by trying to do little studies on how imrpove when i can but ???? plus i know consistency is key, i'm unfortunately not a very consistent person especially when it comes to improving my anatomy. i'm unfortunately a very impatient person when it comes to improvement tho LOL and i know theres more formal classes i could look into but if i learned anythign after being in school, i hate it KDSJGHKDH and thats my own problem but i'm trying to find more visual learnings with more simplified ways of learning but TT o TT
