I got it real bad and pushing through it isn't really helping. So I wanted to hear how you guys deal with/handle burn out! Maybe some tips would help me get though mine?

I am having one rlly bad rn 💀💀💀💀 but usually trying drawing challenges, recreating screenshots, someone else's art in your own style, draw someone else's oc, draw a meme with ur own characters, humanize something that usually works for me <3 or try drawing some things u never draw like a skull or something, maybe u can try some anatomy studies just to warm up. I don't really enjoy doing them but they help u warm up ur wrists so u can draw something better later. I also often use pinterest for ideas, you can try to recreate a pic from there :) be it with an oc or just draw the person on jt

Sketching in my sketchbook has helped a lot of with my burn out thankfully. And I've gotten some good things finished! And anatomy practice would be a good idea!

when I'm feeling particularly burnt out I try and turn my attention to a hobby i've never done before/haven't done for a while!

my go to burn out activity is flower/leaf pressing since all you need to do it is a thick book, a few sheets of computer paper, and somewhere nice to walk around :D
I also find that lurking around second hand stores for cool things and hands on activities seem to do a lot for me (like planting some flowers or rearranging my bedroom furniture!). Doing stuff that isn't too creatively focused can feel suuuper refreshing!

Ooohh pressing flowers or leaves would be a fun idea! That may be a better idea for spring and summer though, since falls almost done where I live. But ty for the idea!!

And trying a new hobby or visiting a second hand shop is a good idea as well!

I might try binge playing Pokémon X for a bit and see if that helps! I didn't accidentally pack up its charger like I did my switch (riiip) so I can play that or Ultra Sun!

And that's so true, you can't force it as much as you want to. And oh man I want to lol.

I haven't, but I'll give that a try! And oh man I'd love to start plush making but I need materials first, but one day! >:3

And ty for the tip!!

Oh ty! I'll check that out, and I agree. I quite enjoy sewing, and some simple patterns would be a fun way to get into it!
