When/how should I start the adopt event

wait until canine-adjacent design is done and start event with that one (wait extra week)

don't wait for canine-adjacent design and start event with current designs (within next couple days)

so I have 2/3 designs done for the adopt event. One is adopt 2 style other is more similar to adopt 3 style. Adopt 2 style one is an ungulate/hooved beast thing and adopt 3 style one is like a freak... bird-winged plant cat thing.
I know a lot of my recent followers I've gotten from my more canine-adjacent adopts... which the last adopt of this bunch I'm intending to be one, but I haven't designed it yet ; o ; !!
my question is: should I wait to start the event with the canine design (may take me an extra week) or go ahead with the guys I have and start the event within next day or so? where canine design would be second uploaded or last depending on when I get it done...
