I try to arrange mine by art that are best used as references! So official reference(s) are always in the very front, and then the rest arranged from the best used for references, and uncoloured/sketches are in the back. The very end could be that ORRR any extras such as 2 version of the same art, very inaccurate art (missing trait, wrong hair colour) etc!! SOMETIMES if I really really like specific art(s) I would intentionally put them on the first row as "showcase" hehe

How do you do yours? or maybe you just don't? or is sub-gallery/tabs your best friend? Why?!

I avoid sub-gallery or tabs because ya girl is lazy to refresh the page for tabs (I sometimes go back and forth to look at the first row images WHILE reading profiles/info) and sub-gallery just make things a lot larger/longer to navigate despite it's tidiness : " ) (kinda like, sometimes I like to use specific art and the official ref but they're in different tabs and potentially further apart so I might have to exit viewing image, scroll down to find the other image again, go back and forth etc) I'm pretty sure what I said isn't much of a problem and is easily fixable but it really isn't that convenient on mobile

Oh gosh! I can see that half of your body's liquid is pretty much poured into her gallery DFSKHGDF

I arrange them by putting the original design first (most visible) and then I put them in order of when I got the next artwork, the newest one always being in the front, if that makes any sense, which means the older the artwork is the further down the gallery it is ='D

That is definitely fair! ^o^ I understand that sometimes when gallery is ranked in order of "favorites" and seeing your art at the back might be let down for some artists > <

Oh I haven't thought about it like that before, but that makes sense > <

I like arranging them by size (large to small) and then sub gallery to make the reference images front and center

By size? : o So stuff with landscape would be in the front?

I arrange my character's gallery like how you arrange yours except that sub-galleries are indeed my best friends ksbiud ;')

SDHDSFH okay honestly sub-gallery isn't that bad but god have you tried sorting the image from gallery to gallery and they just... bug for awhile?? LIKE YOU DRAGGED THEM BUT FOR SOME REASON IT ISN'T TELLING THE SYSTEM LIKE yo i want this image in this gallery can you like... let me put it here instead of teleporting back to the original

Sdjdnjdb they do stress me out at times because it does tend to bug out a bit and I have to do quite a bit of moving images around for it to actually go where it needs to go since they end up teleporting back every now and then. Its horrible on mobile ngl, I have been doing that for mobile for god knows how long HAHHAHA. I see you where you are coming from ;;

YOU'VE BEEN DOING IT ON MOBILE??????????????????????????????????????

THAT'S..... EVEN WORSER. bless your mighty finger and the level of TOLERANCE you have for doing this for like... idk your whole toyhouse life, my goodness!!
I tried it but I really just cant LOL I can only tolerate it for like 20 second before I just close the tab and go "you know what I'll just do it the next time I'm on a laptop"

Been doing it for months possibly even a few years grhthwf. Can't remember tbh. I legit wish that I got a laptop so I don't die inside everytime, what really peeves me off is that the art that are cropped using toyhouse's thumbnail feature or just simply me adjusting the zoom, always breaks the image when moving/organizing to another sub-gallery or sorting ;o:

Ohh, is that was was happening?   sometimes thumbnails break for me, (or worse, almost the whole gallery's thumbnail breaks) but I never really understood why that happens??? I guess moving them around could be a factor now that you mention it

SOBS I do hope you get a laptop some day though!! definitely makes toyhouse a lot easier to use
even the desktop version in a mobile web is really hard to use in toyhouse > : \

Personally, I arrange mine by outfit references and then different sub-gallery subsections.

Like with this girly: https://toyhou.se/7827778.princess-keke-bricht-/gallery

I find that it helps with trying to look for specific art. :)

oh yeah that's actually some really tidy AND detailed way of sorting through galleries, pretty smart!!

It's kind of... eye pleasing to see her gallery tbh haha
until I have to scroll back up and I scroll back way down again the only time I abused my mouse's scrolling wheel

Hahha yeah that's the only downfall is the scrolling!

But otherwise I just like having the breakdown of different arts for my ocs. Plus if I rehome an oc I can separate pre-owned art to the art that I get.

I guess it's just how do you want to it to look, versus what works best for you! I've got a private tab for each oc to keep track on their value and comms etc so having the separate sub-galleries helps with that!

OHHHHHH! Yeah that's actually pretty smart with the whole hidden tab thing! I'll have to keep this one in mind since I'm pretty sure this will come in a BIG HAND for when you want to rehome a character with a loooot of art!!

I 100% lost track of mine though ; _ ; I just go "bought for 10$ + 50$ coms"
that's just my lazy butt making excuses to be tidy haha
with that said, that really reminds me of this one image and I just wanna say that's 100% me now after hearing how you sort

omg that's me before I did the whole value tab thing.

I only recently decided to do it.

AND IT TOOK ME 4 DAYS.

So um it's time consuming but now it's done, it looks so so good!!!

So for instance for this babe: https://toyhou.se/8780038.sasithorn

It looks like this:

So it's all very pretty in a table with links to the art work, artists commission sheet/ YCH/ Auction Post.
I've got a start date and an end date to keep track of how long comms take, I haven't gone back through all my old art I had because that would take even longer, but for new art I can do.

I've also got a hidden character profile titled Commissions and Bids, to keep track of these separately. So it's similar.

OH WOWOWOWOW okay I really have a lot to learn with how you sort the value tracker
this is REALLY helpful actually!! I always find myself OFTEN to check value and keep track of it (but I never bothered to keep track of a value of each piece but I guess this is pretty useful in not just value tracking)
HMMM even the side information like that specific artist's updates, or TDL, etc ALL IN ONE PLACE for you to check, is actually a big brain move
it saves a lot of time navigating through PMs or notes, and keeping track of how long they take and the list of artists you're still waiting from, etc
absolutely useful for if you're someone that commission people a lot! I don't sadly (I wish I could haha) but I would 100% keep this in mind
this is actually blowing my mind
