Do you have AU's?

I've been trying to give some old RP characters AU's, so they just don't kind of sit and do nothing, and wondering if my followers (Or peeps who pass by) tend to stick to one universe for their character, or like create AU's for their characters.

If you have AU's what kind of AU's do you dabble in?
Your own created Alternate Universe, or fan AU's (like game/anime/movie/etc universes) ?

I usually stick to their set universe but for some OCs I created AUs for the chat rp I'm using them in!

Many of my RP OC's have AU's for them since my RP friends like AU RPs~ Though sticking to main universes for non-RP ones

Ooooh yep! That's the thing but I mean it's fun to create AUs if you feel like you have ocs that sit there for nothing lmaooo

I only have a few AUs based on games/anime/etc but otherwise I mostly like to change things around by making characters meet in different situations, changing their occupation, age, species, gender, backstory, role swapping and even crack shipping. Some interesting ones could involve making evil characters good and vice versa.

Sometimes my friends and I just base AUs on themes like: college AU, secret agent AU or fairy tales like Rapunzel, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, etc. xD

I don't think I've done a role swapping AU, that sounds pretty neat tbh!

I have a few alternate universe characters but they generally reside in this world and/or switch between worlds.

I like the idea of reusing characters since some of my characters already died in their main story so sort of just throw them into another world so they're not dead anymore lol >.<"

Hmn, the only characters that have AU's are my fan characters from shows and games, like my Pokemon characters and my Starbound ones. However, for anything else, they're simply put into a setting that my RP partner/friend decide on. Generally a pretty generic modern-fantasy world works, or I will mold them to other settings. Like post-apocalyptic, future-fantasy, medieval-fantasy- regular fantasy? Ehh, I guess discussing it as settings is a bit dated. People don't really do that anymore.

I didn't really get into making AU's until many rp groups I was in started having AU events. But different settings AU are great~ Like I struggle making worlds from scratch, and establishing a setting makes it much easier to work with when it comes to RPing with others~

Yep! It makes it a lot easier and I think it's a good way to have a world shaped by both or everyone that's involved in the RP. c:

I have SO many AUs for characters.... The main 2 I make them for are https://toyhou.se/48807.aria-sarimoti and https://toyhou.se/37276.mica-rea , both actually having more AUs than listed but I have yet to draw anything for them :'D Come to think of it, I'll probably do that fairly soon... I have AUs for other characters as well, I just need to get information down.

But I LOVE making them~ I usually just make them out of whatever I happen to be interested, or if it's an idea I've played around with and gotten attached to. I have Literatures about a few of them up because I also write down stories for them :D

Yeah, I have alot :'D Like I said, I've got AUs for others too, but those are the two I generally put them too :'D

I don't really get tired of the same outfit, but I DO have way to many ideas floating around :'D It's SUPER fun, though! Especially thinking about the details of the specific world they're in!~

Oh man, I LIVE for oc AUs!! I have so many of all different types! Mostly Alternate universes to mess around with and occasionally a fan AU here and there like BSDs and Fire Emblems B3c Most of my AUs have a lot to do with different species and fantasy times though :0c
