No but, fr, I haven’t done this, but if you don’t have basic info about the characters in your mind, and you can’t find any relationships between them for a while, it’s best to give them up uwu

Yeah I totally get that, are you hanging onto certain characters for sedimental reasons, or do you love their design but you have little to no purpose for them?
like any characters i feel sentimental for, i actually use. but i have a ton of designs that i liked the look, got an idea... and then let it sit while going back to my mains e3e
Have you tried certain challenges? I can’t think of any off the top of my head, but there are art challenges, writing challenges etc that build character and help you draw all of your ocs ; o ;
Most of the time, it's based on if I have any inspiration from them and if I can come up with an in-depth personality or backstory for them. I have a couple designs I keep just because I really like the way they look and like getting art of them, but otherwise I get rid of the ones just gathering dust.
My problem is that except for a small few all of my designs I feel are gathering dust. Like I have plans to write for them but i never get around to it

I cant draw lol. I do writing challenges from time to time but if I end up missing a day I end up not finishing at all :/

If it was an impulse buy I usually just end up rehoming after awhile T_T
