Okay I probably shouldn't be doing this, but I got too hyped about this species I've had in the works for months now and have rEALY wanted to start working on them and providing examples/info.... bUT dARN IT I've just been too busy and pushing it off in favor of other things, etc. So while I prooobbably shouldn't do this, cuz it's gonna add a lot of work to my plate, I'm too excited aND WELL MAYBE this'll kick my butt into gear on actually developing them.

So, yeah

I'm looking for some MUTUALS who might be interested in doing blind custom trades! Since a lot of this new species isn't explored yet when it comes to physical traits, I'm only going to be asking for palettes. Which means, for the custom exchange I will only give a palette in return -- open book on both ends! I won't provide any WIPs or mock-ups, and I won't ask for any. I will also be working on these around commissions and other money-making stuff cuz money is important and this is for fun FFF so it may take a month or two?? To finish or get around to everything, so there is also no rush on your end. (But I'd like to have a hard deadline of three months on both sides for completion.)

They're called Melwyrms, and they have both a human/kemonomimi-ish form, as well as a worm/bug form.

I will be doing my half as off-base designs, in either chibi or fullbody (up to you). I will provide both the worm version, as well as their kemonomimi version w/ an outfit. -- so I ask also for an offbase, and either chibi or non-chibi dependong on what you want from me. Clothing doesn't need to be necessary for anthro species adopts (tho welcome??), but please do include them if they're kemonomimi (I love fantasy stuff pls). ;v;/

if both parents have to die to make a baby, wouldnt this species start edging into extinction? D: adsffscf but anyway this was a really nice read!! ;v;7 i really like the idea of these and the worm form is so unique!

They don't die for good! They just sacrifice the remainder of their current life and start their rebirth cycle early is all, so they get reborn in the process.

The only way Melwyrms /officially/ die is if they are killed by something or grow sick/don't have adequate food source.

I wouldn't mind a seeker! Or /sweating intensifies -- if you are more comfortable with art I have such a bad addiction to your chibis and would gladly take like a couple of those instead or something
But if a seeker is easier, I also wouldn't mind that! Surprisingly Teslan is one of my favorite characters so I could probably find place for another one! ^Q^

Feel free to fiddle with that -- you can add/subtract colors or tone stuff down or whatever as needed ^q^b

oH AND IF YOu do add clothes, you can use whatever colors you want that works with the palette I gave ^q^

Definitely male--can be more pretty/androgynous too but p much all my characters are dudes so FFF
idk about keywords.. but I love the sorta desert-y fantasy feel you do really well (like the stuff you design for your czylphs are KILLER, I absolutely love them) and tbh if none of what you design fits on my existing characters, I'll probably create new ones for them so i'm not too specific with what you do.

But honestly these are super up in the air -- feel free to fiddle with them however you like! Almost everything you've done color-wise for clothing is super amazing, so I have trust in you. Add or remove colors as necessary, or even ignore the palettes honestly if you have a really good idea or whatever otherwise? FFF /easy going

Thinking light teals and greyish browns?? mAYBE pink if it's workin' but okay to leave out if it's not
Feel free to add or remove colors as needed, srsly, do w/e the heckers you want, just a general idea palette

Oh and I made that palette as idea for the base/non-clothing colors, so do whatever you feel works best/matches that for the outfit. That bit's totally up to you 8)

OH ALSO MALE or androgynous pls! --Melwyrms are typically more androgynous too, is that okay or do you prefer one way more or the other? :O

I don't mind gender at all so androg is A-OK!! YELLS Also for skin (do they have skin? .. they have the human form.. LOOL) darker skins are better for meee yeee but im also not picky, you're free to fuck around and add or take away colours, GO WILD!!
