ahh that's cool! surprisingly I have quite a few fellow Russian fans following me, statistics don't lie xD
hopefully, I'll get the chance to attend more conventions around the world in the future, I'm working on building my merch this year ^-^

What surprised me even more was how long you've known Elmira and her level of English. I mean, judging by when you uploaded 'Random Things,' she was like 13, and you were literally talking on Skype.. :0 (I only started seriously learning English at 17, LOL)

Your own merch?! :0 WOW!! THAT'S SO COOL!!!! What's going to  be included? Posters, clothes, plushies of your characters? Either way, I  wish you success with this!!! I can't wait to see what kind of merch  you'll create, and I hope I'll be able to buy some!! :D

that's interesting!! I imagine a good part of my Russian fanbase comes from my friend elmira xD

even then, our English was really basic, I needed to use the translator all the time haha, but that was enough to chat for hoursss
and yess!! I've made stickers and keychains so far, but I'd like to expand to stationery and order sketchbooks/ washi tapes/ sticky notes etc!

That's probably the case. But personally, I learned about you first, and only later, through your collaborations, I found out about Elmo and other creators (Btw, your videos are super cool!!)

Wow, so how many years did it take you to learn to speak and understand English well enough to communicate freely without a translator? Like, 2-3 years? Or do you still use one sometimes? :D (This topic is super interesting to me as someone who's intensively learning English)

Oh, that's awesome!!! Anyway, I wish you good luck with expanding your merch, I can't wait to see what you come up with :3

oh woww :0 your English sounds so natural, I honestly wouldn't have guessed that it wasn't your first language
even if I can understand English fluently, I consider that I'm constantly learning new things about it
there's always gonna be a super specific word that escapes my knowledge xD
or even forgetting something really basic that requires me to double-check the translation just to make sure

I think something that helped improve my English was writing my OCs lore and doing my own research
every so often, I find myself searching for "word, synonym" and see how I can make my writing more interesting and varied

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! c:

Thank you!!1 But I'm actually not very good at constructing sentences correctly, which is why I have to use SVOMPT. Because in Russian, we can arrange words however we want, and the meaning will still be clear. But in English, the word order is strict. Even though I mainly use SVOMPT to form sentences, I sometimes have to use a translator to get the correct order.

But I feel that after 2-3 months of active learning and practice, I will finally be able to construct sentences properly (Or maybe not, XD).

Oh, no, thank *you* for sharing more about yourself!!! ^-^ (Btw, this might now be the longest comment thread ever, XD).

While I was writing this message, I remembered that I recently found out about "ArtFight," and I immediately had a question. Have you participated in it, and will you be taking part this summer? :> (For you this winter)

Awww sorry Why am I joining this discussion so late.... I'm INTERESTED to see your merch and find out if there's any delivery to Russia??? Although... I don't even know how to pay... т_т Is it my dream to get merch from you, essentially an update? Because you made merch at the very beginning of your career, like in that video Xddd

I plan to offer worldwide shipping via DHL! although I can't yet confirm if shipping to Russia is available, as I haven't set up anything yet
I might be able to implement more shipping services in the future, but for now that's the best option I have available

Sorry for the long reply, thank you!! :з

You'll most likely need an intermediary from a CIS country or someone you know to arrange delivery to Russia. As for payment, I strongly advise you to open an online bank account in a country like Kazakhstan, and use it to make purchases abroad. I was actually planning to set up an account abroad just the other day, so I know a little bit about this topic :D

Aww thank you!!
