All of these art sharing threads are really nice and seem like a fun way to share and talk about your work..... so i'm making one :D I can talk FOREVER about art related stuff because I have a lot to say but I'll see if i can keep it brief...
As for a little introduction: my biggest interest is of course art, it takes up a large part of my brain (perhaps too much) and otherwise i like to play vidya games... I don't really have a big project i'm working on anymore and instead i like to draw little comics or illustrations of my ocs. Not quite as much commitment as the webcomic i was intending...
I hope to be some kinda illustrator or storyboard artist in the future. You can find my social media links here, i used to be pretty inactive on social media but ive been trying to upload art and be active again ^_^;; im currently in a weird art spot. The program i use is clip studio paint on my laptop :) recently ive started drawing on procreate too.

Another big gap since i last posted, but i wanted to finish a little "project" before i posted here. most recent thing i finished was a set of icons for my new folder layout :o putting them in order of completion... and under a spoiler bc theyre kinda big
now im free to start working on other stuff... i guess i couldve worked on other stuff at the same time as the icons but i dont like to work on several things at once u_u im very one track minded and i dont like having too much on my plate LOL
Its been another month, hello! don't have much to show this time so this is more of a mini update i guess? im working on updating all of my artfight profiles with some nice fullbodies and actual references this time and i dont have much to show right now, but maybe ill share the sketches once theyre all done?
here on the left is a drawing from a few weeks ago: mortimer in his usual sleepwear, pajama pants and no shirt... i want to draw simple outfit refs for all of my characters, but as always i draw one piece and never draw the others 😭😭 i fully intend on seeing this through.... but then again i say that for everything lol. need to learn some art discipline
aaand the right image: this ones of the same oc.... a simple doodle from last night! i wanna work on drawing chibis (ive forgotten how to draw em lol) and somehow i pulled it off without a sketch layer O__O i wanted to draw the background myself with a sims 4 screenshot as a ref but i got lazy halfway thru and realized it wouldnt look good and probablyyyy wasnt worth the effort so i just blurred it a ton LOL but i think it works bc i dont want background details distracting from him

serenevintage its a shortened form of his name, kinda like the nickname dima for the name dimitri... im sorta lazy when typing stuff out so its easier + faster to type out tima than it is to type out mortimer LOL buts its also a cute name i like to call him ^_^
july and artfight has finally started so i wont have anything special for this month's thread post.... except... i do 0________0
i love drawing pieces of my ocs to "celebrate" their birthdays (im sure a ton of other ppl like doing the same too) but usually its a simple little illustration.... today (july 2nd) is the birthday of my oc Mortimer. i'm really fond of him so i decided to go all out and challenge myself. A background which i usually never draw (so if the composition isnt very good Thats Why LOL), and it's sort of a narrative piece too.
I recently got an ipad + procreate so the sketch was done in procreate, but since (so far) i dont really like doing lineart on my ipad, i decided to line color and shade in clip studio paint :D
