I think the original song is epic but it had a reputation for being annoying for a reason, so taking it and applying the most generic, boring party lyrics makes it a hundred times more annoying. It's like if you were to make a remix of the it's friday song, it's still not gonna save it. It kills me

- Rap songs purely about bragging. Honestly I see a lot of people taking rap at face value as "annoying songs about having money", that's not what it all is. There are genuinely good rap songs out there that have many themes, such as overcoming hardships like addiction, trauma, born into bad places, etc. I do listen to this one rap artist, e-dubble (who is deceased, rip man) and I really like his stuff. I really want more like his songs, but I just CANNOT get into modern rap because most of it is just.. not done as well anymore.
- Breakcore songs, and hardcore EDM in general. I can't really see myself getting into it??? I mostly just hear noise and it hurts my ears after a long time
- Phonk. It's repetitive most of the time. I don't see much unique songs in the genre.
