Though for a song that hasn't been mentioned yet "Not your Barbie Girl" because in being the opposite of the original it lacks all of the charm and energy Barbie Girl has. love or hate horny songs, you gotta admit Barbie Girl is one the most banging 90's bubblegum bass tracks so it annoys me when I hear this parody that has nothing on the original
- Pretty much all rap music, especially when they have those trap beats that legitimately hurt my brain. It's very very rare that I like a rap song because most times I just want to shut it off tbh.
- Explicitly sexual music or any music with a lot of curse words. Idk if it's just me, but the worst curse words you'll find in my music is ass, damn, sexy, and bitches (but in a lyric where it's clearly referring to female dogs). And the most explicitly sexual stuff is like... Hi Hi Hi by Wings, lol. I'm not sure why exactly I find myself turned off by songs with cursing. I guess I just don't curse a lot myself?
- 99% of what's on the mainstream radio these days. You hear it everywhere and, for me, it gets really tiring after a while. Everything has the same uninspired, boring sound.
Anyway when it comes to specific songs... I hate that song Happier by (I think?) Bastille and Marshmallow. Mostly because of the chorus, I find it really repetitive and instrumental choruses should not exist. Also, even though I'm a Beatles fan, most dedicated fans hate Hey Jude and I'm no different. It's so overrated and compared to a lot of their other later songs it's just not really that good imo.
Anythin Kpop. Not really down to the music itself but the community is vile and ruined it for me, I can't listen to it

Most sexually explicit songs. Can I just have one love song that’s not all about sex, please?? The sad thing is, there are a few sexual songs I like because of the beat/music, but an instrumental version wouldn’t cut it for me because to be honest, I need the singer’s voice too in order to not get bored. In other words, I just hate the lyrics of these types of songs. If there was a way to keep the singer’s voice but also drown out exactly what they’re singing so I don’t quite understand what I’m hearing, that would be amazing. I just have to learn to tolerate the lyrics and not let them full-on ruin the song for me if I’m going to listen to it, I guess. The funny thing is, sometimes I don’t care about these lyrics at all, and other times, I can’t stand them (usually I can’t stand them). Probably because I’m graysexual. There’s also songs from this certain anime that has sex as one of its main themes (no, it’s not a full-on hentai btw, or at least I personally don’t see it as one), and the funny thing is, the songs from that anime can be as explicit as they want and I wouldn’t care. Sexual/lewd stuff in general usually makes me uncomfy and I usually try to avoid it when I can (sometimes I just have to deal with it, though), yet I’m usually so chill if it has to do with this anime in specific?? I don’t know why.
I also hate when songs randomly have a sexually explicit rap (or just a crappy sounding rap in general) in the middle of it or something. It ruins the whole vibe for me tbh. I usually try to find no rap edits of these songs if I can.
If you want a specific song I hate, Slumber Party by Ashnikko. One, it’s one of those sexually explicit songs that will always make me uncomfortable when I hear it. Two, I hate how it gets praised for LGBT representation, when that representation in this song is done very poorly imo. The entire song is about how the singer likes to “do it” with someone else’s girlfriend. The singer is basically bragging about how much someone else’s girlfriend likes her and all the explicit stuff they did together. That’s my issue here. The entire song in a nutshell is like, “Yeah me and your girlfriend like each other so she cheats on you and does sexually explicit stuff with me, haha loser!! XD” That is not good wlw representation imo. This is coming from a bisexual female btw (I identify as graysexual and bisexual).

They lack instrumentals and most of modren indie rock especially new alternative rock music is to pop leaning it's like they're ashamed to be a rock band
