Since the original Unpopular Opinion Thread is locked (it turned into a shit-show reeeaaal fast) , I've gotten permission to remake it.
I've decided to use the original rules for the thread since those were gucci

second thing: i think cringe is a normal reaction to things, you can be cringe but people can cringe at you, as long as they arent telling you to kys or genuinely attacking you/making fun of you its like fine to cringe at some things you see people doing . some things just aren't someone's cup of tea and again! so long as said person isnt going after said 'cringe' person and just cringes and scrolls or whatever , its cool !
I really think that hell is like shown off too much in fiction not to the point where it's annoying, i wanna see heaven more than just "white pearly gates" i wanna see angels do stuff
Genshin Impact is kinda… losing hype? I’ve been a player for over 2 years now (downloaded it 3 months after the initial launch), and it’s just not nearly as fun as it used to be. The story just feels like it’s dragging on at this point, and I think Hoyoverse is just trying to find new ways to make the story last. Every archon story is the same: “we don’t know where your sister / brother is, but the archon of (XYZ) does”.
None of the recent characters have been particularly exciting whatsoever. All of the newer ones seem to have almost identical kits as previous characters, and while I know that there are only so many unique gameplay ideas, this isn’t it at all. Lyney’s normal attack and skill are extremely reminiscent of Ganyu’s, both Chiori and Alhaitham have the same exact skill mechanic as Keqing (who was one of the first characters released, mind you), Arlecchino has an almost identical kit to Hu Tao… and so on. I have zero incentive to pull for these characters at all. It’s very rinse and repeat.
This could be due to the fact that they’re placing a lot more focus onto Star Rail (which seems pretty cool from what I’ve seen, so I may migrate over there), but I don’t know. I highly doubt it’s worth the 22+ GB that it’s using on my phone. It honestly pains me because I used to love this game so much. It may be me just growing out of it, but I’m not sure.
Adding a random - to the end of sentences is fucking annoying. Sure, it can be fun at times and a way to convey emotions, but if you talk like "This- And it's like- You always feel the need to end sentences like this- Yeah-" You are annoying
