Why is flashing icons a trend now? Please yall can you calm down a bit, you're gonna actually cause me a seizure. (Btw; warning on profiles about flashing lights are like ok! But like,, I wouldn't recommend putting it as your icon.)

This is the thread for general pet peeves. I don't mean character ones or fandom pet peeves, I mean random, not specific to anything pet peeves.

People commenting "this reminds me of ___!" Or "this is like if ___ and ___ had a crossover!" On stories/characters/comics/etc.
I don't know why people think this is a compliment? A creator's main goal is to create something new and original. Having someone comment on, for example, a story I wrote and say "oh! This reminds me of [series I've never heard of] !" Its.. not great to know that I've unknowingly copied a whole piece of media. I know some people might consider it a compliment but to me it feels like basically telling the creator "hey by the way your work isn't original, someone already did this and it's way more popular" and it really comes off as more of an insult.
We get it... Kinsonas are not allowed on this site; please just report and move on. I swear I see more threads about kinsonas than kinnies.
Music streaming services that force you to only listen to a selection of 10-15 of the most popular stations unless you pay. Some people (like myself) cannot stand popular rap/pop and actually want to test out the service.

Popular designers. I don't like that some people get this label. They are favoured by many just because of that no matter if their designers are good or not. Others get 0 change to sell or trade their characters because "I oNly wAnt dEsignS frOm "name" " idk to me this is a thorn in the eye. It seems like these "popular designers" deserve more than anyone else who doesn't have a huge following. And I don't even get why owning a design by a popular designer is so cool. Most of these designers do nothing but representative dogs. Not saying they don't look good but .. I just don't get the hype.
