This is the thread for general pet peeves. I don't mean character ones or fandom pet peeves, I mean random, not specific to anything pet peeves.
Rules
1. Please don't name anybody.
2. If anybody starts to argue, take it to profile comments or PMs.
3. Black out any sensitive content.
My biggest pet peeve is when people shove politics where they shouldn't belong, ie hobbies, work related situations, school etc.
My other pet peeve is when people share their top secret personal beeswax "conversations" real or not and fight people like entitled children because they dont get what they want.and then the wall of text sends people on a bashing spree. I see so much of this on YouTube and it makes me not trust anyone there anymore.

When an artist drops a free song but the download link requires you to link your account to the site & auto-follow them on social medias or tweet that you downloaded something (eg: toneden links).
I'm pretty sure the reason people do this is monetization or something w/their distributors, but it's fishy as hell (+even if it wasn't sometimes it requires logging into a site/service I don't use). Sucks because I like downloading my music vs streaming it, but I'm not taking chances with DLs that require linking accounts.
just randomly thought about it now, but i hate it when strangers give me like pet names :/ i mean, i don't mind a stranger calling me some certain names like "dear" or something or give me a nickname like raph or CK or some other thing instead of raphael, but when it's names that are like "baby" or "sweetie" or "honey" it just feels super condescending even if they don't mean it that way. it's just like, i do not know you at all, we've never talked, we've never interacted, but all of the sudden you're calling me "sweetie"?? i just feel like those names should be reserved for like, special people in your life and not someone you just met. just call me like "dude" or "bro" instead if we're having a casual conversation lol
it's a small pet peeve that doesn't get to me too bad, but it's still a pet peeve regardless so yeah
I really hate that you need a phone number for a gmail account as I am broke asf and I don't wanna buy a phone just for an emaillll >:(

A huge peeve is when people side with others who are in the wrong because they prefer that person.
when people dont close their unused tabs on a web searcher (like google) like PLEASE YOU HAVE 5 DIFFERENT YOUTUBE TABS OPEN-
when people spoiler/black out something sensitive but they don't put a content warning before it. how am i supposed to know if i want to click this or not
pretty minor tbh but when I open up a page, app, etc and it's a light theme.
I use dark mode for everything so this is 100% my fault when it happens lol
I keep seeing characters in the popular tabs that are absolute nonsense. They are photos over everyday things like a printer or floor soap. I thought the Jimmy fallon one was bad but I guess we can go lower? Is this what thoyhouse is devolving into?
