I was curious - If I make a few adopts for the thread again like I have in the past.. would anyone be interested in them if they where a DTA ? All skill levels would be allowed. < 3

Perhaps you fell in love with that design when you first saw it, but you still haven't found a place for it after months of searching and need to let it go. Maybe you designed something years ago that really isn't as great for you as you thought it was. Or maybe you just really need to clean out some space in your folders! No matter what the case, you want that character moved out to someone who can love them more. That's where this thread might come in handy!

Quite a long time ago, there was a mad scientist who wanted his son to have a pet, believing it would teach him responsibility. He was baffled, however, when the child only seemed interested in fish and sea monkeys. Really, he didn't see what was so special about them. A fish couldn't love and play like a dog could, nor did they live nearly as long. So it was that he decided that the perfect pet for his child would, of course, be a hybrid of corgi and fish- and so this little critter was born! It was a fine companion, simple and relaxed and, of course, easy to bathe as it loved water, not to mention it didn't need much to eat, though it wasn't always the sharpest tool in the shed.
One day, unfortunately, the secret got out that such a strange, impossible hybrid existed, and naturally, the mad scientist's creation was seized and taken far away to be researched. Though the scientists were not cruel to it, and it was kept fed and clean, the sterile environment of the lab and the constant poking and prodding exhausted it, and it quickly grew to miss its home, thinking constantly of where its family, strange as they were. The day that a rookie scientist made the mistake of leaving the door behind them, it took its chance and bolted, escaping into the wild and diving into a lake where it stayed until it felt that it might be safe. It now is on a quest to find its way back home, hoping that its creator and his son will take it back in with open, loving arms.
