suggest: make stats private

idk if this is a good idea on the whole. these stats are actually darn helpful when someone starts getting shady and dodging character trades/resales, commissions gone wrong, if the account is recent and therefore might be a scammer, etc. (such as that one PSA that recently went up about the tracing artist who deleted all of their characters as soon as the beware went up-- it was thanks to the stats that everyone understood they didn't just put their characters on private to try and wait for things to cool down or w/e)

though i won't act like they didn't cause me a huge spike of anxiety when i first figured out you can't private them LOL.... it's good to put accountability to ya name tho   i'd be a little unsettled if they changed it up now, tbh

I agree with the above, but I think it would be cool if the "last logged in" wasn't accurate down to the second.
I think it would still work if it said like "Last Logged In: Today / 2 days ago / 121 days ago" instead.
You'd still be able to easily enough tell if someone is dodging your messages or w/e, but it wouldn't leave it as open for obsessive/stalkerish behavior??

ManyTeeth i think that's actually a better idea than just privating all the stats, that would be pretty nice imo

Personally i'm highly uncomfortable with people knowing the exact second/minute that im online on the site, since sometmes i dont have the energy to reply to people, still want to be on the site/browsing stuff/reading threads, but dont want the person to feel like im ignoring them. i just dont think they want to get a garbled message from me at 3am when my reading brain is turned off but responding is gone lol....it's the reason i set myself as invisible on every site i'm on.

i can't really turn on guest block because i do a lot of offsite commissioning and dont want to have to wrangle a million access keys for that, and have friends who arent on-site either. and i have no reason to block the people i'm communicating with, since i just dont want to respond to them right away! and people have gotten upset with me for that. if i was in the middle of a trade with someone and i checked their profile only to find they'd blocked me, i'd be horrified!

which is why i'm cool with generalizing the logged in times. i understand people want them there for anti-scamming reasons so i think that's the best compromise between the two parties. 

It would definitely be nice to hide certain stats like image and character count and timestamp of your last log in. I don't see the reason for anyone else to know that specific information? 

Just adding: Character count can be good to see if a person has removed all characters or just set them to private.  There has been some issues in the past with accounts full of shota/lolicon/pedo characters or accounts full of stolen designs.  People can find it comforting to see if those accounts actually removed the characters or of they just hid them to keep doing their shady buisness in private.
