Okay, okay, don't get me wrong, I love Fitz. He's fun to write and all, fun to develop... but he's a supporting character in one of my lesser stories, meaning he's not exactly supposed to be the center of attention. Again, I love him a lot and don't ever plan on benching him/getting rid of him, but I have so many other characters that I've poured so much more time and effort into, but he's the one who's always chosen at least once per user in steal a character threads and favorite threads. I love him, but I've started to sort of resent him for stealing the show so badly. Its dumb and needlessly petty, but I get annoyed whenever he gets attention in favor of my other characters who I've developed intensely and are actively working on 24/7, unlike Fitz who gets his moment of development stardom only every once and a while. Sorry for sort of ranting, this has been on my mind and this thread seemed perfect.
Sort of like Lollbacked's OCs other people seem to be sick of seeing thread, but the exact opposite!
In other words, what characters do you own that other people like seeing but that you don't?
For example, when I post "Pick any character" on forum games, I used to get responses that were based on Clara here almost every single time. It got to the point I got sick of using her even if other people weren't, as I would get similar responses when this happened. I stopped using her in threads when I did pick the character, although she's still allowed when I post "Pick any character," and I basically haven't used her at all since March.
So, what about you? You got any characters that you're kinda sick of but that other people love?
I'm not sick of using him, but people always seem to be interested in him in forum games and I... don't know why really? He's a joke character, not meant to be taken seriously at all. XD
im definitely not sick of using ZETA and theyre an important character but during artfight it got. really really annoying for people to ONLY draw ZETA. like a good 65% or more attacks ive gotten are probably them - to the point where i had to hide them because 'please try to draw other characters' wasn't enough . i think this is like.. partially because ZETA is very 'easy' to draw but like....i have so many other characters and a majority of them have very simple designs..........pwease.................
Not that I hate using her, just that she's never really wanted for her ninja shit... that I still manage to work in, but still. So I guess I am sick of using her cause I don't get to go all out Aquaria :p
i don't go on the character/forum games (mostly because all my characters are underdeveloped messes that i'm really not ready to "use")
but generally, i am kind of tired of Hiku here. don't get me wrong, i still want to keep him (so DON'T PM me asking if I'll sell/gift him to you, please) but I bought him second-hand and as much as I love his design, i feel like the previous owner and me have very different interests, if that makes sense, so i feel like i might need to revamp him in some way before i want to actively use him.
in general I got tired of all my anthro characters, and I don't know what to do about that. i don't want to sell/trade them away, but anthro doesn't interest me really anymore.
hiku isn't the one i am more tired of than others, but he's the one that people love so much I have got multiple PMs from strangers asking me to sell/trade/gift him to them "if i ever get bored". it's actually rather annoying. and i feel like he's only getting attention because he kind of falls under the "femboy" trope.
the same thing happens to Keijo. both he and Hiku are well-designed anthros who are androgynous and have girly clothing in some of their art - and these are both the two that people want to take from me all the time.
or maybe it's because they both have a lot of art and a high monetary worth that makes people want me to gift them for free... lol.
just to clarify, i don't mean any disrespect to their original creators or their artistic decisions for either character, but although i still very much like them i have different tastes on some stuff.
also nobody ever shows any of my other characters the same amount of attention which is kind of annoying

I'm not really sick of them honestly. He is an "ok" Character to me but he gets so much love from almost everyone compared to my other characters which is the reason why I'm getting sick of plushie probably xD I can understand why.. But erg I have more characters I put A LOT more work into which, I feel like , are almost invisible to others

I get he has a really pretty icon compared to my other chars, and that catches people's attention. I get it. It's really nice art I got really lucky to commission of him. But I would have loved to hear what someone had to say about my other chars too lol xD
In a complex love hate with Korvi. The design bores me...I'm not really in to him at all. But I have a very beautiful fursuit of him that I love and others love. So he kinda sticks around?? And wont ever be traded or sold...
I also get gift art of him randomly so I'm assuming people like him? Which is odd because hes so basic haha.
I love Shy, she's one of my 3 Favorites.
But I have other characters that I love. I based my FFXIV character on Shy, and lately I've felt like Fantasia-ing and renaming her to a different character just for a change of pace. The people who play with me go "But what about Avery! It won't be the same if you're not Avery." I'm flattered people like her and associate her with me so much but can I pls give love to my other characters sldfjsl.
