by having a character be both scary AND pretty u can create an unsettling effect

thanatos is an undead god who is both terrifying and beautiful
btw my fave variation i think is a character who is mostly terrifying but there is also something eerily beautiful/majestic about them
Idk if this guy would count, but a lot of ppl in his own universe find him to be pretty intimidating!! Except for Craig. Craig just thinks he's adorable XD (look at some of Dimitri's art and you'll see who Craig is :])
I think he's very pretty but he's also just a little uh. Quirky! Just a little. He's a hitman after all. But he has a very cute genuine smile
He always looks like he's gonna bite you without warning even when he's happy but in art like this one (blood tw) the rabies comes out a little strong:
