Show me your princes / princesses / kings / queens / emperors / empress +

  • I haven't seen a thread like this so I figured I'd make my own thread for it! If you have a character who is royalty of any kind / sort, post them and tell me about them!
  • They can be currently in power of a land or be a long lost whatever have you! As long as they have that royal blood or royal by X reason, post em!
  • Post IC or post links and talk about your kids! - but keep it all PG 13!
  • I wish I could respond to everyone, but just know I love all your royal babies!<3 I love royal stories as they can be so unique and so poetic! From a princess decided to go on adventures to an ex-king taking back his kingdom! They're all valid!

If you have a hard time thinking of what to say, here's some ideas!

  • Do they like being royalty?
  • What kind of ruler are they?
  • If they're not a ruler (lost royalty) then do they wish they could have been in power?
  • If they aren't in line to the throne, do they plan to get it by force or accept their fate?
  • Where do they live?

karlin︱regalia catp0rtal

I've got this girl, who is the main of my comedy / fantasy world. She's not quite queen material, but she's trying her best.

Do they like being royalty? Sort of, it's what she was born and raised to do. She's more interested in and better at being a leader at war, which is good I guess since it seems her empire can't help but be involved in some form of conflict.

What kind of ruler are they? Nice enough to her own people, but comes off as cold and somewhat distant, though her people trust her as the heir to the throne and the champion of the empire.

 Princess Cybil Whiona

istg I have a BILLION royal OCs but Cybil is my main and absolutely my favourite!! She's the princess of Lyndith, a fictional island loosely inspired by Britain, though I drew on a few different periods in its history. She's kind of a spoiled brat at the beginning of her story, but develops to become a very capable ruler :)

BusyZee

I've got this girl right here. She is a princess and the sole heir of her kingdom, Firelight. Because of this, she was shielded and coddled from the rest of the kingdom, and the world outside of it. As she grows older, she begins to desire more freedom. After a heated argument with her parents, Ember (in the heat of the moment) does something that puts the entire kingdom in danger. She runs away out of fear and guilt, and now lives as a nomad, hoping to find a way to fix her mistake.

She's bold, brave, and outgoing, but can also be stubborn and impulsive. She also frequently has bratty tendencies, and often looks down on others.

Nákul xXIgnisXx

Nakul is a Prince that has no right to succession as in his desert kingdom firstborn females are the heirs to the throne. However, he has no female siblings so was expected to marry a princess from another kingdom into the family in order to keep his family in some semblance of power. That didn't happen though as he had run off and become a fugitive on the run. The family however thinks he was kidnapped so set a bounty so that somebody would hopefully turn him in safe and sound.

The only aspect he liked about being royalty was the luxuries like food and clothing and that is because he was kept cooped up and not allowed to freely roam or do as he pleased. His mother thought that if he saw how the general population lived or was allowed to partake in any activity that she hadn't allowed him to do it would brainwash him out of doing his duties as a prince to the kingdom. He never would have wanted to be a ruler anyway because he would have held little to no power as it is the Queens that rule in his kingdom, and he doesn't like to have big responsibilities.

King Fabion Vampyrhaus

My most beloved oc, who happens to be royalty lol.

To keep it short (like him), he's overly obsessed with himself, and lacks empathy for others almost completely. Fabion is a very vile man, but to his subjects outside of the palace, he's an "angel".

He's a very intelligent king, but his massive ego tends to influence his ruling as well. To secure power, he was turned into a vampire, to both be immortal and to keep his beauty. He has been ruling since the age of 18, becoming king after the "untimely" death of his parents, the late King Antoine and Queen Alouette.

 Caspian Zeppi

Oooh! Nice to know someone else is a sucker for royal characters aswell. I have around 6 or so kings, but Caspian is my favorite so I'll share.

(Warning: Death and mental illness is mentioned. And im bad at explaining so im sorry shshs)

(Also, this is set in the 1750s)

Basically, Caspian was born the heir of the Western kingdom in a land called Irisan. (The land is seperated into four seperate kingdoms. Northern kingdom, Southern kingdom.. you get the gist.)  He's a nice, and caring king.. but he's much too mentally impared to be able to run his kingdom affectively. He has schizophrenia, so he has a hard time telling what's real and what isn't, and is constantly stuck inside of his head. He lost both parents, and practically everyone else that lived in his kingdom in a massacre plotted by an enemy of his father, causing him to be crowned king, as well as being left an orphan by age 11. From then on, the town of the western kingdom has been a ghost town. Everyone fled, since the fear of being targeted aswell was too great. For an entire decade, he practically raised himself. (with the help of the other kingdoms aswell. They'd provide him food and check up on him every once in awhile to make sure he was alive)

Because he was practically abandoned and isolated himself for an entire decade, now he has major attachment issues. He clings onto anyone 'real' as if his life depends on it.

Luckily, in modern day, he's married and lives a happy life with his husband ,who also happened to be a king.

That's all! Thank you for letting me ramble. Caspian is my ultimate favorite oc and its so nice getting to talk about him >') I hope my explanation makes some sense

Erea Webmegami

Erea is the Empress of the Night for my old gothic/vampire story.

She was one of the first vampire rulers to adopt more peaceful politics through centuries, also cause she had to deal with other kinds and clans more often.

She got a tragic love story but is doing her best to protect her family and their inheritance.

 Soleil SunsetCatto

Soleil is the new princess of the sun. As next in line for the throne, she is currently undergoing training to be a princess. Together, she and her sister Lune are schooled in ruling, royal duties, and etiquette.

Soleil has a boundless enthusiasm for life. She's optimistic and energetic. A free-spirit, she embraces life and companionship with no hesitation. An extrovert, Soleil makes friends quickly and without difficulty. She always sees the best in everybody, and is a firm believer in second chances.
Her personality is almost the exact opposite of her sister, Lune. Where Soleil is optimistic, Lune is a pessimist. Where Soleil adores socializing and being around others, Lune prefers solitude and can't stand company. Despite this, the two sisters are nigh inseparable and are good friends. Soleil can also be a little socially awkward. She desperately craves companionship and affection. Sometimes this can be a flaw; her blindness to the bad in others can cause her to place too much trust in strangers.

 Luneil SunsetCatto

Lune is the new princess of the moon. As the next in line for the throne, she and her sister Soleil attend rigorous training. Their schooling includes the duties of royalty, proper etiquette, and the nuances of ruling.

Unlike her twin sister, Soleil, Lune is graceful and poised. An outside observer would think her calm and reserved - the perfect regal ruler-to-be. In reality, Lune is very bitter and sarcastic. She takes a misanthropic approach to the world. The exception is Soleil, with whom she is quite affectionate and understanding. Lune never teases or faults her sister for her awkwardness.

Cordelia Vitulina II milkywaytrain

    • formerly Scotland, then she kinda fucked off to somewhere in massachusetts
Mary yanderechips

Woah edgy queen alert

Jokes aside, Mary is a Mary sue that's a queen and she destroyed her kingdom, including her family. So she pretty much killed everyone she knew

VultureScale

boom raccoon

basically Geoff is a king in a fantasy world! He's really nice to his citizens and tries his best to make them happy if possible. Some people believe he is just acting and doing that to gain trust but who knows? maybe they are right? maybe not? but there's only a small percentage of people who believe that

Edan Sagliell Kanonite

Edan is the rebellious and younger of the two Sagliell brothers, aristocratic scions in a distant, biopunk future. Whereas Markor, his older sibling was engineered to be strong and durable like the Unification War heroes of yore, Edan is designed to be brainy and something of a shapeshifter.

The two's upbringing, while privileged, was also quite Spartan, learning to accept personal responsibility and juggle smaller amounts of allowance before being allowed anywhere near the families' coffers. Despite this, the Sagliell's, along with other houses, are more of a public face/right hand for the extraterrestrial oligarchs who actually run the show.

As mentioned above, Edan is the rebel of the two siblings,  feeling uncomfortable with having large amounts of responsibility, and possibly an arranged marriage, foisted upon him without getting to experience life to it's fullest. This exasperates his more "Model" older brother to no end.
