She would appear very panicked, but would instantly start some coping mechanisms. Then she'd focus in her surroundings and why she's feeling panic. She'd start working on ways to make herself calm down and feel secure. Overall, its about her getting control over the situation and making sure she handles her stress responses well.
Okay, let's imagine your character get on a pretty oofy situation and they start to panicking. What do they look like? Are they just standing here, sweating intensely, while having a internal mental breakdown? Or they gonna yell at everyone without any sense, or, in another way, will just act perfectly normal?

He actually goes incredibly still when he panics, his entire body will tense up and almost go rigid. he doesn't really show too much on his face when he's panicking because it's mostly in his body language, but his eyes do go slightly wider than normal. basically he gets a sort of deer-in-headlights look. additionally he either chews/bites his lip or clenches his teeth and jaw
it's almost immediately noticable though because he's always either VERY aloof and relaxed looking normally
his body going completely still is him forcing himself in place to keep himself from taking any drastic actions, and to give himself time to think of how to get out of a bad situation. but it looks very... odd, he almost stops moving entirely , sometimes he forgets to breathe

Heron also shuts down--cannot make a sound or emote, will hardly move and barely breathe--a cornered prey animal playing dead. He's emotionally repressed enough to have to rely on somatic symptoms to even realise he is shit-scared. Why have his hands stopped working? Ah. Mortal peril. Of course. If it's bad bad he can become totally unresponsive.

lugok doesnt panic. hes so large and strong hes in charge in most situations. any in the rare event he isnt get skips over panic and just goes straight to violent anger.
Her bio doesn’t mention this, but when one of her dads suffered from a stroke, she basically had a huge meltdown. Screaming, crying hysterically, smashing things, etc. She’s very emotional in general and tends to express her feelings of fear through outwardly being angry.

when this girl panics, the burn scars on her face begin to sting, as they do in high stress situations. she tends to press her palms against the scarred skin and her breathing gets funny. she doesn't like to cry in front of people, but when push comes to shove, she'll start tearing up.

Freezes up amd unsheathes his claws before his breathing quickens, he isn)t vocal much when panicking due to his past but he internally is freaking out.
No need to panic if you lost the ability to. Facing a kraken or cuthulu and stairing death in the face does nothing to scare this legendary pirate because he seen it all and most likely faced twice as worse. But in a situation where a normal person would panic (lets say being under attack) he would most likely take his swords and charge whatever danger is out there while everyone else runs away. He usually comes out on top.
