My man Stygian is what's called a shifter in his world and the one beast he's bound to when it comes to transformation is this big boy, Shihazutsu... a legendary dragon. I have yet to draw a full reference, but I just love their design so much and it makes Stygian's character so much cooler to me. :0

He's usually in human form! Was wingless at one point, hence no wings in reference pic. He's gone to live with humans after the dragon king left him to die. He's sworn loyalty to the prince instead and protects him despite said prince being more powerful. When he isn't playing knight, he's a vet for the town he lives in. Semi-feral, spicy fire elemental who's bonded with a trickster elf.
Emir and Nisa are half-dragon twins, the children of the dragon prince mentioned above. Nisa is incredibly adept with physical strength and fighting, but struggles to maintain use of magic or her dragon form. Emir is more studious and adept with magic as well as harnessing his dragon form.
