OCs you've changed b/c of others' interpretations

oooo i have a few of these

- a lot of ppl drew maizy with a fluffy hair bang thing so i added it

- i drew miru with a curled tail once and others started drawing her like that so i made it a part of her design, helps differentiate her anyways since shes p basic of a design

- someone drew lightning bolt stripes on x's back so i made them a part of his design (haven't drawn him w them yet tho)

- the one that came to mind first, someone misinterpreted their swirl eye as fluffy hair, but i liked how it looked and made it an alt hairstyle

I don't remember but I think her whole having one heart shaped spot in different places in various art was started by someone else. But I might have also put the heart shape there, I can't remember nor care if I did or not, artists took the idea better than I could have, that's what counts.

Well, I can add this guy to this thread now! The artist who did his portrait added in scars and I liked them so I kept them.

This Maskcatz was suppose to be a quiet adventurer actually. He was suppose to be child-like but after someone was drawing him and end up telling me he had a smug face and could be the the type to dab on people. He end up having to change into a meme character that thinks he's the guardian of the sand and I love it. Ahaha!~

intended to originally change up my sona and make her a little lighter to match myself in real life; i recieved a piece of her where she had some pudginess and i thought it was the cutest thing ever?? so i kept it

Lee didn’t originally have the mole near his eye, but an artist misinterpreted some of the sketchy marks on his face from his old reference image as a mole instead of just stray lines from drawing some zombie-rot on his cheeks. XD But that was just my fault for not having a super clear ref at the time. I liked how the art turned out though, so when I finally drew him his first finished reference, I included him having the mole.

Someone made a YCH of her and asked me if the "stars" on her back should glow, since part of her body will be in the shadows and I was like "Holy shit that's genious!"
I wasn't sure if I will make it canon until I saw the finished product and it really looked magical.
So now those "stars" are bioluminecsent.

Ooo! My boy Shiloh would look quite a bit different if it weren't for some artists I commissioned early on after getting him. The most prominent thing that is now a permanent part of his design is his two little rounded teeth on the sides of his mask. He didn't originally have them, but an artist painted a watercolor of him and added them and I was like "  " and made it a permanent detail. He also used to have totally flat teeth/no canines, but somebody drew him with the pointy ones and that stuck too! Finally, his pupils actually used to be black- like his eyes were dark grey and his pupils were even darker. I can't remember if I was the one who changed that or if someone else drew him with lighter eyes first. I know the same person who drew him with the rounded teeth gave him big blue pupils for some reason, so maybe that was the start of my inspiration lol.

Nonetheless, I'm very happy where his design is today!

It's why I like getting lots of art from artists with a new character I designed. It sort of chips away at the rough edges of the new character and finalizes them, which I really appreciate! 

In particular, a character I had a long time, someone made his fur Cape PART of his back. Like hes not wearing a cape at all but it's part of him 

And I am LIVING for that look lol
