Owen ED. Doors. Pretty sure you can guess what his name is a pun of. https://toyhou.se/17580384.owen-ed-doors
Believe it or not, but I looove characters whose names are jokes, puns, and/or silly references to random stuff! I have some of them myself and I would love to see yours too! ♥ So feel free to post them here (or list them if you have many), and explaining the joke or references if you think it's needed :D

His first name is Sakur, his last name is Claw… put them together and it’s Sakurclaw, a pun (if you can call it that) on Sakura. I didn’t want to name him just Sakura because it’s a common name for Ocs imo and it was too feminine for me. Just some silly thought I made late at night that I later turned into a character.
I have a few.
My sona is named Bug except snails are not bugs.
Newton is called Newt for short, but axolotls are in fact not newts.
Jacky is named that because they always wear jackets & I was too lazy to think of a name at the time.
Ribbot because he's a robot frog.
Spoon because she carries a spoon in her pocket.
Doodle because they're a drawing--a doodle.
His is pretty obviously "Benny, be good" which is a fitting name for a kid's show character who's supposed to be a role model and ironic for a rowdy punk
Oh I got the perfect OCs. Rhapsody's name is a pun on the Gershwin piece "Rhapsody in Blue". It's one of my favorite musical things ever. And Vinyl Records is pretty obvious. Â I was 12-13 when I made them.
Victor's middle name is Ian. He's a historian who specializes in advertisements of the latter part of the 1800s. His nickname is Vic, and he collects old computers, so he goes by "vic-20" online. He named himself, and is awfully proud of the pun
"Berlichingen" is the last name of a German mercenary/knight, named "Gotz". A man who's best known for his metal right arm after losing his non-metal meaty arm to a projectile from a canon, or in german "kanone". So Kanon's name and well, right arm cannon, is a whole "if you can't beat em, join em" situation.
