The codes are two separate entities sharing one wolfdog body! Code Red is the scaredy-cat who always seems blue and Code Black is the bumbling dork!
Any form of long-term body-sharing is welcome here! Haunted/possessed characters, characters with DID, symbiotes/hosts, characters who just happen to be in the same brain... anything else you can think of.
I'm especially interested in characters in the same body who look after and care about each other, or who otherwise have learned to work together. :o
I have a bunch that I think qualify! I guess it's just a trope that I like!
Gemini was basically possessed, but took pity on the entity possessing her, and they kind of coexist now, though as time goes on, the line between them gets blurrier. They usually function basically like a single entity, but use plural pronouns and consider themselves different people. If I were ever to do a proper story featuring them, I think I'd like, have them get separated and discover neither of them like it very much.
Xander and Five have a story that I want to tell eventually, though when I rp them, it's always well before that story would start. (tho i still have five go by "five." i like it. whatever.) A lot of shenanigans happen, and Five ends up hosted in Xander's body, though they can switch who is in control/who they look like at will (more or less.) The world has fallen apart, and Xander is extremely complicit in this happening, so they usually leave Five in charge, especially when they fall in with the remains of a rebellion that opposed the organization Xander was with. Xander has to resist the urge to leap out to defend himself/the organization when the crew he's hanging with is chatting about how everything got as bad as it did, and isn't always great at it.
And finally Imp and Geu! They're just straight-up the same person! Sort of. I also want to tell their story at some point, but I mostly just draw Imp doing au shenanigans. Basically, Geula is an eccentric, confident weirdo. He dies. And wakes up as a ghost! With no memories. Stuff happens, and this ghost ends up going by Imposter, and he makes some friends and has a good time. More stuff happens, and Imp gets his memories from being alive back. The main issue is that with his memories come his personality, and he come to a sort of sudden realization that he is no longer the person that his friends like, and in a way, he never was. Imposter is exactly that.

Mauna is a more positive example, i'm not sure if I should call it a 'body' considering he's a ghost but he has a similar situation? in a practical sense he has two different memory states that he shifts between unpredictably, one of them is a human looking amnesiac ghost and the other is a ghost looking human with all of his memories before he died. either of these states are his own personality really, but right now they're existing as if they were separate people! only one can front at a time and they don't keep the other's memories but they try to trust their friends to help them catch up and stuff! Haziel knows Mauna does some things that he himself would be too shy or just introverted to do, and it's kinda embarrassing but othen than that, he thinks Mauna is okay. Mauna is a little more clueless about Haziel, but he still trusts him.
Kei shares his body with his evil clone from the parallel world who's a psychopathic bastard :/ (however tbh tbh, at the time even Kei did worse things than Yellow, i mean Yellow is far a worse person, but he wouldn't have done many things that Kei did out of the intensity of his emotions. boohoo Kei). Kei maintains emotional dominance and fronts most of the time. At first he did feel more in tune with Yellow even though he wasn't allowing him to do bad things just because he wanted to torture him as he knew Yellow wanted to use him and didn't want to give him the pleasure... Now he's way more divorced and knows he can't get rid of him but really wishes he could find a way to. It's hard for him to not like Yellow really, it's basically the superego speaking

Cutts doesnt realize it, but he's actually a combination of a few souls living as one in a humongous dragonoid body He also has a petite humanoid form too because of this fact
He just came into existence one day, and has no memory of before he was a demon. He was magically bound together in a desparate attempt to keep 2.5 souls from separating after death
Ben's twin brother, Lucas, was still born and now they kind of share a body because Ben grew two personalities ; his own and his brother's. So sometimes he's Ben and sometimes he's Lucas. He thinks it's totally normal and they often both know what the other one is doing. They have totally different personalities though !
Inanis' tail (He calls him Sam tho) is possessed by an ancient force that detects whether a soul is tainted and if, devours them and sends them into the depths of hell...
Bailey shares his body with a ghost called Serron. The ghost was fading away and needed to anchor to something to continue existing. Bailey volunteered and now has cool claws.
These two do! They were fused together magically in order to save Aeon's life. They can't both be in control at the same time, so they switch control every once in awhile.
CloudedOtter a TW character!! :D I'm not super active on there but I've always thought the Thespian lore was super cool.
More on topic, this character's concept has been rattling around in my head for a few months now, and seeing this thread made me extra motivated to finally design/upload them. They're basically this god's warlock in the D&D sense; in exchange for providing magical powers she gets their body for a couple hours a day for sightseeing purposes. Their relationship is somewhat strained but mostly positive. They're both trying their best.
Christopher here is your guy! Just your average businessman, running his own construction company, living his life... until he accidentally agrees to sharing a body with a high level, murder-hungry demon out for blood. Now he has to deal with this demon all on his own, and theres no way for him to get rid of it lof
Quill shares his body with a demon!! While I don't have a design for her, the eye on his chest is how she manifests herself.
I highly doubt this would count, but I have wolf twins who are attached to each other by the hip. Literally! They both have to move in sync if they want to get anywhere, but they're both very different from each other in personality yet they both coexist together due to their predicament (conjoined).
