ddl4yvm-7eec650b-5324-4734-8e93-a79ce676The default builds for Quillrends

🌸 Enigmas are your average Quill. Stands 6-8'5" from foot to top of the head

🌸 Reduced builds are proportionately the same size as enigmas in all places except the legs, giving them a munchkin-cat-like look. The tail is also a bit thicker, just in case you thought they'd be a nice, easy snack. Slightly deeper chested, but only a touch. Stand 6'5"-5 tall from foot to top of the head

🌸 Deter builds are as small as Quill default builds go and their backs are covered in spikes to keep them safe because of it! Their back quills are longer than the other builds and they stand up partially when at rest. Their tails are significantly smaller and shorter than other adults and their faces are a touch slimmer. They're a bit thicker around the middle and don't have the obvious waist that other Quills do. Stand very near 4' tall from foot to the top of the head

All suggested by Anhelisk!

🌸 Harpy is the "default" build for Glowies, as it bears the most resemblance their their unmorphed form. They stand roughly 4-4'7" from foot to the top of the head

🌸 Flight is a significantly smaller morph that, aside from the tail, appears fairly similar to a harpy. The tail scale is extra long, but doesn't look it, as the rump feathers that cover it are very elongated. These tail feathers are lighter and softer than the ones that cover the body. The ears are a little longer than average, too. Flights stand approximately 7 inches to 1'7" tall from foot to the top of the head

🌸 Sprints are more thickly built with strong necks, backs, and powerful legs for running. While they can fly, their wings are relatively small compared to their body mass and they'll have to struggle quite a bit. The feet are very large and the ears are a touch small. The stand 6'-7'5" from foot to the top of the head

🌸 Swim builds have long, slender necks atop broad, boat-shaped bodies. Their plumage is very water resistant and they themselves are quite buoyant. The tail scale features a broadened end, supposedly for help in moving through the water. Although their legs are shorter, they still stand at 3'5"-4' from foot to the top of the head

🌸 Vogue builds are basically the Superiors of Glowies. They have puffed chests, an upright posture, and sharp, triangular ears. Around three to five mini-ified scales like those on the tail grow from their foreheads akin to a peacock's head crest (note that these do not have gems on them). The tail is made of many scales which are layered in a fan shape. Each of these scales will have a gem at its end. While usually drug along the ground, vogues can flare these up for an impressive display, if they do say so themselves. They're capable of flight, but only shortened bursts, as that pretty tail is also a heavy tail. They stand 2'5" to 3' from foot to the top of the head

ddyalkr-9d3580bd-bfe0-44e6-a49b-dd66cc02Default adult builds for Chldren of Shivelight

🌸 Fence: "Default" Shive anatomy, standing 6 to 7 feet tall

🌸 Knight: The muzzle is broader and the ears are reduced. The chest and shoulders are wider (though are still slimmer than human proportions). As the hips do not widen to match, this gives them a sort of hourglass figure. Knights are often that type of person who has no problem getting buff. They stand 6'5" to 7'5" tall

🌸 Highborn: This morph is incredibly common among royalty and rarer with the commonfolk. It features a long, thin muzzle with slightly elongated, elfish ears. The fur is silkier and attempts to curl, but often settles for wavy. There's extra feathering on both the wrists and ankles. The figure is more shapely being rounded at the chest, thin below the ribs, and having emphasized hips. The shoulders may be more noticeable, but will be thin and elegant instead of strong and muscular. The tallest build by default, standing 7-9' tall

🌸 Homebody: Much stockier than the other builds as well as relatively uncommon to see, as most Shive are tall and lanky. The ears are larger and mousier. The hips are positioned wider than average, but the body slopes towards these in a triangle shape as opposed to an hourglass one. The arms and legs may seem a bit chubbier simply by comparison to other Shive. The shortest build, standing 5'5" to 6' tall

Must be obtained via item, event, etc

🌸 Mer: Slight hips and, most noticeably, a tail tipped with a large cartilage fin. In addition there are two smaller fins of the same material located on the sides. Mers often move their tails in a different slithering motion, as if they're always swimming. They have no set size themselves, instead being within the height ranges a keke would have for their default morphs of their type

(Note that the belly scales go in the regular straight line down the body. They only appear to spiral here due to the way the keke is positioned)

It must be obtained through an item, events, etc

🌸 Gilded: The Snakekey is fully consumed by their base metal, forming a super durable (but prone to scratching) body. All original disks on the head will elongate into jagged, curved horns. They'll also develop several new disks: right behind the eye, on the wrists, shoulders, throat, and down the back. Belly scales bleed out much further than usual, rising up high on the sides. Finally, the tip of the tail forms into a small curl. They stand 4-6' tall

🌸 Slipper: Has a very, very long naga tail. A small fin runs from the base of the hips to the tip of the tail. There's also a little fin crest on the head. There's a noticeable line by the inner point of the eye. The first belly scale has a large 'v' shape cut out of the center. The rest of them are flat lines with similar 'v' shapes in the middle. This morph stands around 4-5' despite being much longer in the tail

🌸 Fantail: An elegant morph...when in the water. Long, accented eyelashes and ears made up of slightly pointed fins. There are two long and lacy fins on the sides of the naga tail while the tip of the tail features a huge, betta-like fish tail. The belly scales are smooth and don't show any visible lines through them. This morph is just a touch short, standing 4 to 4'6" tall

Suggested by LibbysSpecies!

🌸 Angel: The wings are long, but slim in a seagull-like shape. The top of the wings become covered in downy, wool-like feathers that can be any one solid color different from the base if desired. All other feathers (ears, mane, tail tuft) become curly as well, though not as downy. The wings have small spiral grooves on their undersides. The belly scales are heart-shaped. Stands 6-7' tall

🌸 A spool morph would generally be somewhere between young and hatchling sized...if not for their absurdly long naga tails. These enable them to stand taller than a reach and still have extra noodle to spare (so they could go higher, but at the cost of balance). The ears are a little longer than they should be. The belly scales taper to a point where the tail might have ended if it didn't do...this. They can stand anywhere between 2'5" to 9' with variable balance and tail drag

Pygmy_special_morph_revamp.pngSpecial morphs available Pterrurs and Plumies
Must be obtained via items, events, etc. Suggested by Buttergriffin332!

🌸 Pygmies are tiny, standing only 6" to 1'. They have rounded belly scales that face down and long, very mobile ears. Thanks to the elongated "sticks" under the feathers/fur, they can wiggle their ears around in shapes that other keke can't! Granted, they can't curl too tightly on themselves or bend (think a range of motion akin to a cat's tail)

Plumies will get poofy feather manes and a diamond-shaped tail tip beneath their tail tuft. The wings won't become feathered, but the edges of them will look like they are

Pterrurs get a big mane made of fleshy nubs and a diamond-shaped tail tip. Their arms will be replaced by simple arm wings with a jagged edge (like a bat's, but minus the fingers). The crest will majorly remain, but it'll start higher up on the muzzle, not touching the mouth

Giant_Wistul_builds.png

The default adult builds for Giant Wistuls

🌸 Breakthrough: Named for the abnormality of Wistuls having builds. This build is the "default" for Giants. It has the average neck, body, limb, tail, and ear lengths with a rounded tail frill and rounded belly scales. The chest is slightly deepened and the hind legs have a peculiar structure for swift, tiptoe running. They can stand up to 3' (1m) at the shoulder, but may be as small as 2'6"
🌸 Trawler: A slightly shorter, more muscular bluid. The neck, torso, and tail are all slightly shortened. The ears are smaller, not quite falling to the shoulders and the tail frill has a somewhat pointed shape. The belly scales are 'V' shaped. The haunches are very pronounced and the body slightly barrel-like. Stand between 2'9" and 2'3"
🌸 Archaic: The smallest of the Giant builds, which bears more resemblance to their amphibious past (hence the name). They have very long ears with extra frills and the belly scales stop a little short - not quite reaching the jawline nor the tip of the tail. The hind toes are webbed and the hips have a nub "skirt" atop them. Instead of a frill, the tail has a large flare of nubs that shrink in size the closer they get towards the body. While these guys may look strange for Giants, their many frills are often considered quite attractive to Tul types that select for that type of thing. They fare better at swimming than other Giant builds, but are worse at running due to extra drag. They stand between 2'3" and 1'6" tall

Hydra_adult_morphs.png

These are the default adult morphs for Hydra Behemoths
Morphs are shown with one head extended and two tail tips. These are just filler - replace with your Hydra's correct number of appendages! : )

🌸 Legend: The "default" morph. These can stand anywhere from 9 to 12 feet, which ain't a bad range! They're long, lithe, and feature conservative amounts of spike and fluff
🌸 Snowcoat: Smaller than the others, being around 6 to 9 feet. Has a mane that carries fully from the forehead to the base of the tail tips. Lacks the usual tail spines. There's more feathering on the backs of the arms as well
🌸 Spiny: As large as legend, sometimes bigger (10-13'). Lacks a mane, instead having spines that carry from the neck to the tail tips. The wrist feathering is reduced, but not totally absent

Fakakey_builds_flaunt_and_bully.png

Special builds for Fakekeys
Both suggested by SourHour!

🌸 Bully: A short, squat, and dense body plan. Bullies are thicker in most places, including the neck, torso, and legs. Their have boxier, slightly larger muzzles and their built-in face-teeth are a touch more jagged. Their protruding fangs point upwards instead of down. Fluff is reduced, completely removing the head crest and shrinking the mane, ears, and feathering. The toes are bigger, but also more condensed. This gives them an almost canine look instead of your more typical, lizard-like fingers. They suffer some loss of maneuverability because of this, but they sure can trundle! : ) The tail is drastically shortened, not even long enough to touch the ground. Finally, the belly marking forms two vertical stripes at the belly area (appearance of these can vary widely. However, they must be vertical and at least majorly straight!) They're around the same height as the Canidae morph, ranging between 2'11" and 3'6" at the top of the head

🌸 Flaunt: These slinky creatures have fur that's silkier than your average Fake, as well as a tad more water resistant. They've got a large, flowing head crest, longer fur on the chest area, and a modest tuft on the tip of their tails. At the same time, the hair on their manes and feet is slightly lessened. Their torsos are about average length for a Fake, though it make not be as noticeable due to the chest being quite deep and the waist quite slender! The head, ears, and neck are a touch elongated, while the tail is noticeably longer than a puggle's. The legs are slim and the paws are a bit smaller. A flaunt's belly marking goes up the whole of the neck and also coats the tip of the tail, which includes the tuft. They're slightly shorter than average, being around 4'9" to 3'9" at the top of the head

Quillrend_special_morphs_Highstep_shrubb
Special builds for Quillrends

🌸 Shamble-hand: An apparent step towards bipedalism...?? Much of this build looks similar to an enigma with major differences being in the legs and posture. While the front paws can be walked on, they're more commonly held aloft in a sort of half hunch. The front toes are more dexterous and finger-like. While not fully functional, the thumbs are more mobile than the default, allowing them to be used for some things. A small claw protrudes from the skin above the thumbs, as if replacing them. The finger claws are also minutely retractable (with the exception of the above-thumb ones). The shoulders are just a touch more human-like, allowing a larger range of outward movement - though it's not that impressive, mind. It also makes them look sort of.... uncanny from the front. The hind legs are thicker and more muscular. While still digitigrade, shamble-hands walk with more of their foot than you'd expect for a canine. If standing on all fours, they're the same height as an enigma (6' to 8'5" at the top of the head), though their behinds do stoop more towards the ground. When on two legs, they're shorter, being around 5' to 7'5" at the top of the head

🌸 Shrubber: A smaller build with a propensity for foraging in and around bushes, giving them their name. They have a larger whimsy pad on their face to aid them with this. It carries further around the upper lip than usual and comes to a point between the eyes. As a result, the pads on their legs are shortened. The ears are half perked unless relaxed (visible insides can be any one color unless upgraded otherwise). The back quills are placed higher up, being on the shoulders and upper back where they might be of more use when encountering cranky bush creatures. The hind paws each have a small, immobile dew claw, colored the same as the rest of the claws by default. This build stands roughly 4'2" to 3'6" at the top of the head

🌸 Highstep: An incredibly lanky build capable of running impressive distances thanks to those long, slim legs. The muzzle is elongated and thin with the lower whimsy pad nearly reaching the edge of the mouth. The ears are long, pointed, and un-flopped, helping them hear better in wide, open spaces (where they often linger). The inner ears may be any one color by default. The neck and torso are quite long, often with shortened chest fur. Instead of stopping in a rectangular shape, the neck whimsy pad travels up to the base of the jawline in a blotchy sort of way where it then connects to the lip pad (not visible at this angle). The leg pads are on the hind legs instead of the front, though the reason why is difficult to determine. The tail is much smaller than is usual for Quillrends and doesn't have as noticeable as a bulge towards the end. Theoretically, less weight for faster running was deemed more important than a huge club. It's also assumed that the tail is reduced since the highstep is so large and supposedly would have more ease defending itself naturally. They stand, at the top of head, between 10 and 9 feet

Xilgenaut_adult_castes.pngThe default adult castes for Xilgenauts

🌸 Townfolk: The "default" caste. This caste is unspecialized, displaying features at their average levels. It should be noted that townfolk have a point just below their neck, a slightly deep chest, and a slimmer waist. They stand in a sort of upright sprawling posture due to the length of their legs, especially the hind. They're 5-6' at the shoulder, 6-7' at the top head

🌸 Stompaw: This caste is meant to defend the herd and, as such, has several adaptations to keep grabby bits out of the way. This moves the whiskers to the backs of the cheeks, reduces the size of the antenna, shrinks the wings slightly, and has the eyes smaller than usual. The chest is deeper and the feet feature much more lumpy chitin (used to bash foes!). Despite their imposing appearance, stompaws have the same heigh range as townfolk

🌸 Bother: The bother is an assistant to the stompaw. While the larger Xil attacks, these tiny guys distract! As such, they're heavily armored to withstand blows. This armor can be seen running from nose to forehead as well as along the sides of their bodies and necks. Spaced out plates atop the tail allow it plenty of room for it to change size and move. There are also protective bumps on the front of the front feet, growing from the foot chitin itself. Added plates take on the colors of the area they sit on or are completely transparent. Bothers are the smallest natural caste, being 4 to 3' tall at the shoulder, 5-4' at the top of the head

🌸 Cuddlekith: A slightly shorter caste tasked with babysitting. While parents will typically take care of their own infants, a cuddlekith can always be depended on to keep the little guys out of trouble! Their whiskers are heart-shaped rather than teardrops and they have a cushy dewlap that curls around the base of their necks. This actually contains extra space for the organ that makes their cocoon goop, allowing the cuddlekith to be more prolific than base Xils. The tread that runs up the belly stops at the dewlap, leaving the underside of the neck smooth. Their wings are somewhat larger in size and the feather mane along their back is substantially taller. Both of these things serve to keep babies safe, covered, and warm! Individuals stand roughly 4'5"-4'10" at the shoulder, 5'5"-5'10" at the top of the head

HannahBug

Cattlepede_adult_builds.pngThe default adult builds for Cattlepedes

🌸 Garden: A smaller, slimmer little guy. Their neck fur continues further down their chests, but other than that, these look a lot like a shrunk down milk! About 1-2' in length, able to stand up to a maximum of 1.4' to 6" (they need at least 6" on the ground for stabilization)

🌸 Milk: The "default" anatomy for 'pedes. They have average length fluff, ears, and all that. They're about 2.5-3.5' in length, able to stand up a maximum of 1.5 to 2.5 feet (they need at least one foot on the ground for stabilization)

🌸 Titano: Besides being a good bit larger than the other builds, titano also has longer, saber-like fangs and longer ears. Their neck fur is longer and flowier, as well. They're about 5.5-6.5' in length, able to stand up a maximum of 4 to 5 feet (they require at least 1.5 feet on the ground for stabilization)
