Meanwhile, ve would assault the providence from the inside, often bringing illness to the city. Because of this, ve was an incredibly high level target and a household name for some time. Eventually, the ruler's mages were getting to close to breaking through ves defenses, so ve used a spell tome to open a rift to a random location, which just so happened to be Susie

Personality: Last of Dark is your classic polite Shive, all manners and bows. They're friendly and generally upbeat, seemingly over having been dead by now. They adore exploring, searching for inspiring landscapes to paint. Despite their knight build, Last of Dark isn't a fighter and they're well aware of it. They're quick to flee conflict or at least back up a good distance. They're loyal to a fault to their friends, which is, in part, the reason for their death

They very much enjoy learning about Snakekeys, their culture, and generally this whole new world that's been opened up to them. They're likely to listen to any explanation they can get, even if they've already heard it before. They'll offer up what they know about That He Made For Us in return if asked, but generally consider the landscape and architecture to be much more interesting than Shive themselves. On top of that, it seems they died a good while ago, so their information may be out of date

Personality: Very little is known about Dave. He's a ghost contained within a sigil on the floorboards of his own home, hidden away until recently. He seems tired and unable to speak to the curious for long. The sun will send him back to his place and, as he's only capable of being revealed at 4 AM, this leaves him with very little time to communicate. It almost seems like he... can't anyway. His words are careful, limited. Upon being discovered, he bestowed the discoverer with a small glass shard, saying that it'd "seen everything". What this means remains to be uncovered
