Hybrid: The offspring of PCs, possibly in combination with keke, that mixes the parents' traits into something new

[Wip descrip]

🌱 Click images (or links, if applicable) to see creation info!
🌱 Be sure to read each guide very carefully! There are lots of little things to watch for
🌱 In  general, hybrids can earn things that their parent types can (the "type  + type" listing below their mix). Say we're working with a Half-keke.  They're a Gribbon/Snakekey hybrid, so they'd have access to both  Gribbon-restricted and Snakekey-restricted things. In this instance, the  hybrid would unlock things centered around their Snakekey parent's  type. If their parent was a Plumie, they could unlock the talons youth  upgrade
🌱 The above rule does not stack. For  example: you breed a Half-Fake and a Half-Keke. The child is a  Half-Fake. They would have access to Fakekey-restricted things, but not  Pterrur Snakekey stuff
🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 These types of PCs must be obtained through breeding, events, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!

Half-Fake.png1: Half-Fake (Hfake): Fakekey + Gribbon
Majorly based on a suggestion by rosythefoxluv!

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Fakekey guide
Anatomy differences > No fluffy head crest. Instead, there will be a mask-like formation that covers the front part of the face (should not pass the eye). The mask will add two fangs on the upper jaw. The cheeks will have two large, horn-like formations on each side of the face. Neck and chest have a lot of feathers/fluff. Front feet are paws with retractable claws. Hind feet are lizard-like with claws. There will be a large amount of fur/feathers on the butt and hind legs. Tail tip has a little feather tuft instead of a fin
Color differences > The belly color can be any solid color. It can also be gradiented with the accent color. May also be shiny. Mask on the face can be a unique color or match the base. All claws will match the mask color. Tail tuft will match the accent color. The main part of the eye (sclera) will be a black, but the pupil can be any color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Form should have a "blood type" field, but not a "coat type". Options are warm, cold, or neutral

🌿 Young:
The young phase is lumped in with the youth phase!

🌿 Youth:
Design > Use the belly color and/or the accent color to make markings. Markings can be and size of shape! Markings can be shiny and/or a gradient of both accent colors. However, gradients shouldn't be placed off of the markings
Matures out of > N/A
Usable youth upgrades > Blob deposit, eye scales, growth spurt, puff crest, short stature, smaller paws, bedhead, blotches, chubby, feather shed, and tusks

🌿 Adult:
Default heights > Use Gribbon heights for adults. Large, medium, and small

🍒 Half-Fakes are incredibly elusive. Due to how strong their mind-bending magic is, very few know they exist. Only other Hfakes can really see them for what they are. Snakekeys don't even have a concept of these guys being out there
🍒 Hfakes have poor eyesight and an increased chance at blindness. However, they can still do the mental mapping that Gribbons can to make up for it. Don't tell anybody, but their maps are actually more powerful than a Gribbon's

HannahBug

2: Half-Keke.pngHalf-Keke (Hkey): Gribbon + Any Snakekey

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Gribbon guide
Anatomy differences > Will have a keke head. Add tiny, rounded horns. The eyes will be dark and sort of hollow looking. Add a feathery mane down the back. Remove the feathers on the hind legs. Hind legs will have soft paws like a keke. The tail is much shorter and is not tipped with anything. Add belly scales (facing down) starting below the front legs and extending the tail tip
Color differences > The head will be a different color than the base. Two accent colors with the first being on the cheek pouches and the second on the horns. Belly scales will be one or both of these accent colors and may be shiny or display streaking or gradients of both colors
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Hkeys have both a "coat type" and a "blood type". Coats can be warm, neutral, or cold while blood can be warm or cold

🌿 Young:
The young phase is lumped in with the youth phase!

Hkey-MYO-newborn-guide-by-Sour-Hour.png🌿 Youth:
Design > Use either of, both, or none of the accent colors for the markings. Markings can be shiny and/or a gradient of both accent colors. However, gradients shouldn't be placed off of the markings. Markings can be any size or shape! The head color can also be used to add spots onto the design
Matures out of > N/A
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, bighorn, blotches, chubby, growth spurt, tusks, color points, drowsiness, fin shreds, and missing teeth

🌿 Adult:
Default heights > Large, medium, and small

-Newborn image guide courtesy of SorrelDemon!

🍒 Like Gribbons, a Hkey's illusionary magic isn't really...great when they're newborns. They can have little fits where it seems to be working and they'll look like a keke, but this usually lasts a max of 10 seconds
🍒 Their magic can improve as they grow older, but it only works on Snakekeys and Gribbons. Keke tend to have an easier time seeing through it
🍒 When their kids are learning to disguise themselves, Gribbon parents will often pretend that they're shocked to encourage the kiddos. Oh my gosh, where is my sweet, sweet son?? Who put this regular Gribbon here?! Call the guardians!!
🍒 Oddly, Hkeys can only see in the light using their eyes. They can create mental maps like Gribbons can, but these only work in the dark

HannahBug

Half-Wistul.png3: Half-Wistul (Hisstul): Crested Wistul + Fakekey

🌿 Puppy:
Creation > Follow the Crestul guide
Anatomy differences > Remove all nubs and belly scales. Instead, add a long, furry mane that connects to a fluffy head crest. The ears will also be long and furry. The mouth will have two upper fang teeth that poke out. Cheeks will have a little semi-circle of three cheek scales. Limbs will have slight feathering and simple claws. Add a fluffy tuft on each side of the hips and simple, round pupils
Color differences > Follow the Fakekey guide for color. Hisstuls may or may not have soft patches on the bottoms of their feet
Baby stuff > None. This includes Crestul baby legs and shimmery skin - Hisstul legs are fully formed like an adult Crestul!
Description form > Form should have a "blood type" field, but not a "mucus type". Options are warm or cold

🌿 Guppy:

Design > Follow the Fakekey design guide

Matures out of > N/A

🍒 Snakekeys don't exactly get what makes Hisstuls. To them, it seems like just... a thing that can happen sometimes! "Snakekeys" (aka Fakekeys) that Crestuls can actually breed with are often jokingly called "chosen keke"
🍒 Hisstuls have the same confusion-emitting aura that Fakes have, but it's much milder and a keke can "break through" if they think hard enough for more than a couple seconds

HannahBug

Snakerend.png4: Snakerend: Quillrend + Any Snakekey

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the regular keke guide
Anatomy differences > Add a slight muzzle and simple, round pupils. The mouth will be smooth and intercepted by a nose pad like a Quill's, but smaller and the part where the nostrils would be branching out further into a sort of "T" shape. Note there aren't any actual nostrils. Add whimsy pads on the arms where a Quill has them. The paws will be like a Quills, minus the dew claw. This hybrid has a set of back legs, which look like the front legs without the pads. The tail is tufted with a large bundle of fur
Color differences > Accent colors will function like they do for Quillrends, having 2. The first goes on the pads, the second goes on the cheek pouches and blood. The mouth color will match the belly scales. Eyes can be any color, but the pupil will have to be the same sort of color as the sclera (black pupils for black eyes, yellow for yellow, eyc). The hue does not have to be exactly the same
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > Include a "blood type" field with the options being warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Quill design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > Include a "heart type" field. An "art type" field is optional

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, dorsal stripe, whimsy shimmer

🌿 Adult:
Default builds > Enigma and reduced (though these don't have the deep chest or other torso-y things dogs would have. Due to the keke in them, they've got a noodle belly)

🍒 Snakerends have the whimsy sense, but it's very poor. It's like having a limb that's asleep. You can still sort of tell when it's being touched, but that's about it. Still, some whimsy is better than being whimless!

HannahBug

Quillkey.png5: Quillkey: Quillrend + Fakekey

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Fake guide
Anatomy differences > Add a slit nose like a rabbit's. Instead of having cheek scales, add 2 eye scales. The puff crest can face forward or backwards. The ears are partially bent to face downward. Teeth don't poke out of the mouth, rather they have rounded attached teeth. Slightly more deep chested than your average Fake. Add Quill like raptor dew claws on the front paws. There will be a bundle of scales on the front legs that mimic a Quill's whimsy pads' shape. There are thin, raisable quills on the lower portion of the back and on the fluffy tail tip
Color differences > The accent color will affect all added scales and color all quills. The eyes can be any color, but the pupil will be the same sort of color (ie, blue eyes will have blue pupils, green eyes have green pupils, etc). Pupils do not have the match the hue of the sclera
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "blood type" field with the options being warm, cold, ice, or boil-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Fake design rules or the Quill design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "heart type" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Blob deposit, eye scales, full fangs, glowing tick marks, growth spurt, puff crest, puffball spikes, short stature, smaller paws, bedhead, chubby, dorsal stripe, double dew, drowsiness, stunted tail

🌿 Adult:
Default builds > Puggle, canidae, and slink

🍒 Quillkeys are whimless, meaning they lack the whimsy sense
🍒 With their extra scales, Quillkeys have a small bonus to confusing other creatures, namely Snakekeys
🍒 Snakekeys generally believe Quillkeys to be a rare outcome from a keke/Quill breeding. It just so happens that the name given to the hybrid makes sense for both keke and Fakes, given the "key" on the end

HannahBug

Half-Quill.png6: Half-Quill (Hquill): Quillrend + Gribbon

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Gribbon guide
Anatomy differences > The mask will have a short muzzle covered in a whimsy pad. Ears will be folded dog ears and eyes (which are actually functional) will have a round pupil. Add a whimsy pad on the neck and raptor-like dew claws on the front paws. The hind toes have attached claws. The end portion of the back has thin, raisable quills. The bulb on the tail tip is a sharp lightbulb spike. Remove the horns
Color differences > Whimsy pads will match the second accent color (the one on the hind toes). Quills can match the mask or the first accent color. Eyes will be black while pupils can be any color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "coat type" field with the options being warm, cold, or neutral

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Quill design rules or the Gribbon design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "heart type" field. An "art type" field is optional

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, feather shed, glowing growths, growth spurt, short stature, tusks, dorsal stripe, double dew, drowsiness, stunted tail, whimsy shimmer

🌿 Adult:
Default heights > Large, medium, and small

🍒 Hquills are able to sense whimsy nearly as good as a Quillrend can, with only a slight disadvantage due to their lack of arm pads
🍒 Due to the combination of whimsy and their illusion magic, Hquills are better at hiding themselves from Quills at first than keke. The mix of these two abilities is quite strong and can baffle most Quills a few days after a Hquill hatches
🍒 Due to having functioning eyes, Hquills can see and lack the mental map that Gribbons have. Their vision does tend to look over-saturated and grainy like an overexposed image, but better than nothing, right?
🍒 Despite having eyes, these hybrids don't have eyelids. Thankfully, they don't seem to need them. A thick mucus membrane protects the eyes and can be wiped clean with the paws if anything -such as dirt- gets stuck on it. Since they don't have eyelids, Hquills sleep with their eyes open. To avoid keeping them awake with visual distractions, their pupils simply...blink away...!

HannahBug

Quilltul.png7: Quilltul: Quillrend + Crested Wistul

🌿 Puppy:
Creation > Follow the Crestul guide
Anatomy differences > The muzzle has a whimsy pad on it. Add slit nostils. The ears will be fluffy as well as folded. The body is covered in a coat of short fur. Add whimsy pads on the front legs like a Quill has. No mane on the neck. What would usually be nubs on the shoulders and hips are instead quills. The tail is big and bushy, like a squirrel's. The underbelly and underside of the tail are lined with thin, raisable quills. Remove the belly scales
Color differences > Quilltuls have 2 accent colors. The first goes on the whimsy pads and blood, the second goes on the quills and mouth. Both can be any color
Baby stuff > None. Note that babies cannot shimmer in the light due to being furry
Description form > Do not include a "mucus type" field.

🌿 Guppy:
Design > Use the Quill design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "heart type" field. An "art type" field is optional

🍒 Quilltuls are a bit bigger than your average Crestul, but will still be quite small compared to their canine parent
🍒 A Quilltul's ability to sense whimsy is almost on par with a Quill's, which is kind of impressive

HannahBug

Glowkey.png8: Glowkey: Glowis Maxima + Any Snakekey

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the regular Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The ears will be like those on a Glowie. The mane will be feathered. Add a small feather tuft on the head. The arms will have feathers coming off their backsides enough to make wings capable of gliding. Paws will only have two toes, each with a claw. The tail tip will shift into a Glowie's tail scale, complete with gem. The muzzle and fingertips will have a cover of beak-like skin which may or may not be lined (I don't line them here)
Color differences > The skin on the muzzle, fingertips, and belly scales will all match. It can be any color, but all points must be the same color. The tail gem can match the eye or the accent color. The insides will be the accent color
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > Include a "blood type" field. This may be warm of cold regardless of the belly scale color

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Glowis design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > "Art type" (or whatever the keke type has in replacement of such - ie a Shiny's "hoard type") is optional

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, additional gems, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, fancy poof, feather crest, star facets

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 Strangely, Glowkeys totally lack the vocal chords required to use regular keke speech. They can sing very nicely and talk to most avians, though!
🍒 Thankfully, Glowkeys are capable of talking to keke through their tail gems much like Glowies can. Their voices often sound abnormally sing-song, but it's better than nothing
🍒 Even when full grown, Glowkeys are able to do little other than glide without upgrades

HannahBug

Hglow.png9: Half-Glowis (Hglow): Glowis Maxima + Gribbon

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Fakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The ears will have a visible indent in them for the ear canals. The larger patches of fluff (mane, ears, head tuft, etc) will be feathered. Only one cheek scale which lies flat on the skin and reaches up to the eye. No teeth poking out of the mouth. The arms have wings attached to them with the top half being feathered, lower half being membrane. At the wrists/ankles, the fur fades away, leaving bare skin. Have 2 main toes with 1 raptor-like "thumb" per foot. The fingers have soft patches on them, but there is no central patch. Towards the end of the tail, bare skin also shows. The tail is tipped with 3-6 scales
Color differences > The cheek scales as well as the exposed hands, feet, and tail tip may be any color, but will all match. The wing membranes, tail scales, and soft patches on the paws will also match. Pupil and sclera (eye white) can be any color, but must be the same type of color, but don't have to be the same hue. So pink eyes would have pink pupils, red eyes red pupils, etc... No belly stripe or face marking
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "blood type" field. May be warm, cold, boil, or ice

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Glowis design rules or the Fake design rules. As this hybrid doesn't have a belly color, you can't add markings with such
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Blob deposit, eye scales, glowing tick marks, growth sput, puff crest, puffball spikes, short stature, smaller paws, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, fading skin, fancy poof, drowsiness, feather crest, star facets

🌿 Adult:
Default heights > Puggle, canidae, and slink

🍒 As far as keke can tell, Hglows are just a weird outcome of keke/Glowis pairings
🍒 Hglows majorly lack their internal confusion emitters. They retain just enough that it's hard to remember their features or focus on the stranger aspects of the hybrid. Snakekeys, though, can tell this thing isn't one of them
🍒 This hybrid is almost strictly carnivorous and will majorly eat meat. They can become sickly and listless if not able to keep up their ideal diet, but they won't keel over per say
🍒 Without Glowis gems, Hglows are majorly unable to communicate telepathically. Their scales seem to allow them to project a slight buzz into somebody's mind, but that's about it

HannahBug

Crestis-Max.png10: Crestis Max: Glowis Maxima + Crested Wistul

🌿 Puppy:
Creation > Follow the Crestul guide
Anatomy differences > The ears will be tall and feathery with a visible indent for the ear canals. The whole body is covered in plumage, so extra fluff can be visible in areas such as the cheeks and haunches. Remove all nubs. Add a feathered mane and a feathery tail tuft with a round gem on it. The belly scales will be smooth, having no visible direction they face. The front legs will be a set of wings, feathered at the top, membrane at the bottom. At the "wrist joint", add 2 little fingers.
Color differences > The belly scales, insides, and wing fingers will all match, but may be any color. The eye has a pupil. Both pupil and sclera can be any color. Tail gem coloring follows the same rules as a Glowis (eye section). The wing membranes may be any color, but both must match
Baby stuff > Crestis legs are fully formed like an adult Crestul at birth! They may, however, retain the shimmer to their skin
Description form > No "mucus type" field

🌿 Guppy:
Design > Follow the Glowis design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include an "art type" field. A "color method" field is not nessisary, as multiples are not used for this hybrid

🍒 Crestis are fully capable of flight the second they're born...beware, parents!
🍒 This hybrid can communicate telepathically due to their tail gems. The thing is...they don't really need to. They can speak in a voice both keke and Glowies can understand. The telepathy is just kinda extra
🍒 Maxes stand at almost the same height as regular Crestuls, but tend to be 2-3 inches taller

HannahBug

Quillis.png11: Quillis: Glowis Maxima + Quillrend

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Quill guide
Anatomy differences > The nose will be slit, more like a rabbit's. The nose and neck pads connect to each other. The face has a heart-shaped patch of exposed skin which also carries down the neck to surround the pad there (may or may not be lined - I don't line it here). The ears are like a Glowis', but somewhat smaller. The head tuft is feathered. Arms are quad-jointed. Front paws have two toes with a raptor-like "thumb" on each hand. All front toes are covered in exposed skin. The back sides of the arms are feathered, but not enough to look like wings. Tail transforms into a blade-like tail scale halfway through. It has two tear-shaped gems on its tip. Pelt overall is a mix of fur and feathers
Color differences > The exposed skin on the face, toes, tail tip, etc... can be any color, but must all be the same color. The tail gems will match the nose pad color. Both pupil and sclera can be any color. Body must be a blue, purple, or pink unless the hybrid rolls a special pelt. Mouth will match the base color. Hind toe claws match exposed skin color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Quill design rules or the Glowis design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "heart type" field

Quillis-MYO-newborn-guide-by-Sour-Hour.p🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, chubby, dorsal stripe, double dew, drowsiness, growth spurt, short stature, stunted tail, whimsy shimmer, additional gems, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, fancy poof, feather crest, star facets

🌿 Adult:
Default builds > Enigma, reduced, and deter

-Newborn image guide courtesy of SorrelDemon!

___________________________________________________________________________

🍒 Quillises are capable of both gem-based telepathy and whimsy detection, which pretty much hooks them up with 7 senses. This is generally considered very ideal!
🍒 While usually around joey height or over, Quillises may occasionally be quite tiny. It's thought that this is a result of them trying to turn into a Glowis' flight morph

HannahBug

Glowbbin.png12: Glowbbin: Glowis Maxima + Gribbon
Suggested by Anhelisk!

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Gribbon guide
Anatomy differences > The mask will be heart-shaped akin to a barn owl's face. Glowbbins have actual functioning eyes. The ears are a bit longer with visible insides. Front paws are replaced with talons. Back sides of the arms are feathery with Glowis-like arm wings (flight-able at birth). The hind legs lack the usual Gribbon wings and instead turn to bird-like legs halfway down. Two of the toes are forward-facing while the remainder is backwards-facing. The tail is like a Glowis Maxima's tail scale, though the rounded gem at the end has a Gribbon's lightbulb wire in it
Color differences > The eyes may be any solid color, but must match. The accent color with affect the horns, wings, and tail bulb. On birth, the accent will only be one color! Keratin (talons and tail scale) may be any color, but must all be the same color
Baby stuff > None. Glowbbins do not have the wonky baby face Gribbon newborns have
Description form > Include a "coat type" field

🌿 Young:
The young phase is lumped in with the youth phase!

🌿 Youth:
Design > Use either the Glowis or the Gribbon color methods. Also, chose a second accent color. This should be applied as a gradient to the arm wings. It can also go on the tail bulb and horns, but this is optional
Matures out of > N/A
Usable youth upgrades > Additional gems, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, fading skin, fancy poof, drowsiness, feather crest, growth spurt, short stature, star facets, bedhead, bighorn, blotches, chubby, glowing growths, tusks

🌿 Adult:
Default heights > Large, medium, and small

🍒 Glowbbins majorly see with their eyes and thusly don't really need a Gribbon's mental map. They still have this sense, but it's much more dulled down - more like 'feeling' instead of 'seeing'. It's often referred to as 'echolocation' among them
🍒 Glowbbins are not able to telepathically speak to animals like a Glowis. They speak with their mouths, though strangely in a language that is universally understood...

HannahBug

Hxil.png13: Half-Xil (Hxil): Xilgenaut + Any Snakekey

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the regular keke guide
Anatomy differences > The arms are somewhat elongated and split into three jointed sections. The ears are especially long and bear resemblance to Xil antenna. There's a small tuft of hair on the head. The mane is made up of peculiar almost-feathers and is quite poofy. There's a line of this same stuff on the end portion of the naga tail. The belly scales carry all the way up the neck, which is slightly elongated as well. There's a very slight muzzle and a crease in the inner corner of the eye that points towards the muzzle's end. The mouth has attached teeth like a Xil rather than a keke. The cheek pouch is two thin strips on the cheek which aren't connected. There's a small pair of leathery Xil wings on the back (without an elytron clip). No baby fin or paw pads. The eyes have round pupils
Color differences > The wings will match the accent color. The fluff may be a color of the same type as the base (eg blue fluff for a blue base). "Fluff" includes the head tuft, neck mane, and tail mane. All fluff may be colored or you can pick and choose which ones remain the base color. The eyes are two colors: one for the sclera (eye white) and one for the pupil. A horizontal line of sclera color divides the pupil in half
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > Include a "blood type" field with the options being warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the regular design rules or the Xil design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > Include an "art type" and/or "preferred swimming medium" field. Also include a "color method used" field, mentioning whether you've used the Xil color method or one of the keke ones!

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, bitbite, chitin spurs, droopy wings, flopfeather, knock-kneed, lankiness, shedding

🌿 Adult:
Default builds > Joey, fae, reach, goblin

🍒 Hxil (pron: hick-sill) are potentially the first Snakekey hybrid ever! The record isn't flawless, but Xilgenauts were known to hybridize with keke way back when
🍒 Most of a Hxil's skin feels slightly tough, but is otherwise just skin. The arms, however, are made of chitin. This chitin is a little softer than it is on Xils, but that probably won't mean much. It's still tough stuff...!

HannahBug

Nautekey.png14: Nautekey: Xilgenaut + Fakekey

Creation > Follow the Fake guide
Anatomy differences > The head has a muzzle and is overall more Xil-shaped than Fake. There's a crease that forms a 'u' shape between the innermost corner of the eyes. There's a large hair tuft, a mane running down the neck and withers, and a poof at the base of the tail. All of this hair has a short layer of feathers at its base. The ears are not quite so long and there's a little set of feathery antenna on the head. There are no protruding teeth, though 8 small teeth remain in the mouth (4 on top, 4 on bottom). When the mouth is open, there's one noticeable hole in the cheek. The cheek scales are separated and placed spaced out on the neck. While teardrop-shaped, these can face either up or down. The belly color is contained in a tread-like area, but it's smooth... So, just sort of an indentation. The beginning of this tread can be any simple shape (heart, triangle, round, etc...). At the elbows and knees, there is a seam akin to the legs of a bug. The toes are short and chubby with a lackage of claws. The tail is shorter than usual
Color differences > There is only one central soft patch on each foot. The belly tread, antennae, and foot patch will match the accent color. Nautekeys do not have a spot mark on their faces. The mane hair may be any one color and the feather manes can be their own one color as well. The neck scales will match the "insides" color. The teeth may be any one color. The pupils have a small spike of the sclera color in them which may itself be any orientation
Baby stuff > Baby fin
Description form > Include a "blood type" field with the options being warm, cold, boil, or ice-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Use the Xil design rules
Matures out of > Baby fin
Description form > Optionally include a "preferred swimming medium" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Blob deposit, eye scales, fin shreds, full fangs, glowing tick marks, growth spurt, puffball spikes, short stature, bitbite, double-deep chest, flopfeather, knock-kneed, lankiness, scanttenna, shedding

🌿 Adult:
Default options > Puggle canidae, slink, townfolk, stompaw, bother, and cuddlekith

🍒 Nautekeys do not have illusionary abilities, which is quite timely! If Xils had been discovered earlier, that would have been a real rude reveal. Hahaha! Haha. Ha....
🍒 A Naute's legs are majorly skin, fading quite quickly to chitin around the visible seam. After that, they go back to being skin. Weird!

HannahBug

Hgrib.png15: Hgrib (Half-Gribbon): Xilgenaut + Gribbon

🌿 Newborn:
Creation > Follow the Gribbon guide
Anatomy differences > Hgrib's have ahead with a slight sloping muzzle as well as functioning eyes. They have the start of cheek pouch markings with swoop to touch the underside of the eye before ending abruptly. The ears are quite long and antenna-shaped. There are blobby Xil whiskers both at the front of the face and back of the jaw. The neck is slightly elongated. From the wrist joint down, the paws are chitin scoops like those of a Xil. On the back, there's a pair of small, furry wings. The hind legs lack feathers and instead lead into large, leathery wings. The tail is replaced with a big feather collection. There are no horns
Color differences > The tail feathers and whiskers will match in color, which can be any one color of your choice.
