"Speaking of things I haven't had in forever: scones. A nice plain scone with maybe some sugar on top, Yuck or yum?"

"Scones? Oh, those are quite delectable. I personally like to add some condensed milk as a topping, but a scone with just sugar is quite nice as well."

"What are your thoughts on marmalade? I like mine with freshly-bought bread in particular."

Evie has to stop and think about that, the trace of a soft smile touching her face. "I didn't use to like marmalade, but I guess it's grown on me. I'm sure I can find someone around here to blame for that." (Yum)

"Ever had chocolate pudding cake? Ugliest cake in the world before you put it in the oven, fucking amazing when it comes out. Like magic."

"Disgusting. Awful texture, overly sweet, and horribly messy. If that's considered magic, then I'll add that to my list of reasons to despise magic."

Azu: "What are your thoughts on Brownyies? I can't have them (Rizu: "Or any form of chocolate, for that matter.") without getting sick, so I wannya know how other people like them, nya!"

"Ever since society began to rebuild itself, we've been able to produce delicacies like chocolate again for the first time since before the Great War. While it's hard to get your hands on it since mass production isn't a thing, it tastes damn rewarding. My wife baked us up some long time ago and I remember them tasting like what I would image heaven to taste like." (Yum)

"I love to hunt, that ain't no surprise. Caught myself a mole rat, care for some stew? The liquid's beer, if that's okay with you. I promise it makes the mole rat stew have just the right about of kick. That, and like like the 5 jalapeños I added in for fun."

"Hmmm, I normally wouldn't look at a mole rat and think 'wow, that'll make a tasty stew', but I'll try anyways... WHOA! Too spicy, not a fan! The mole rat taste as bad as I thought it would as well. I'm sorry mister, but that is yucky!"

"Meatball sub! The meatball's from the squrriels and the bread's rye because it's my favourite bread. What you do think?"

"Ohh, a meatball sub is delicious," Terry nodded thoughtfully, but something struck him. Squirrels? He paused. He'd never had that before, he wasn't sure if he wanted to, but he sure was craving a meatball sub now.

"Any meatball sub is good," he decided.

"What do you think of tea?" Terry asked, "I'm not a fan of it, but I see a lot of people that love the stuff."

She hides her smile like she's embarrassed. "I love seafood. Especially crab. I'd eat it weeks straight if I could, but Wyawot's all groundwater, and Rivers is the only person I know who could afford to have it shipped out here, and she just hates seafood, can you believe that?"

"Oh, here's one I can't stand: What do you think of smoked meat?"

"Have you never tried good smoked meats, or do you just like boring food?" Lucille teased. Maybe teased? From her tone, perhaps it was difficult to tell. "Smoked lamb is really good. I don't know what kind of garbage you've been eating!"

"Mhhh -- my mother made lemon cookies for me. I'm not going to eat this junk, though. You want them?"

“Hmm.. never been one for sour flavors.. but these are quite pleasant.. Your mother makes fantastic cookies!” It cracked a smile while taking another bite. “I’ll take them.. thank you.”

Pouring a coffee for himself, he offers to pour you some. “Would you care for some coffee? Specifically black.. there doesn’t seem to be anymore creams or sugars.. sorry…”

“Yum. Very much so. Black coffee is the superior coffee to all others, milk and sugar simply dampen the flavor.”
