EXPLAIN RATING: god, i know i've said it a few times but i am completely smitten with this gal's design - she's absolutely gorgeous! she comes across as a well thought out and well-rounded character and her personality and background suits her very wel! the interactions section of her bio is a neat touch as well as it shows ur character in action which is really cool to see

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Krypt'n (Kiyung)

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: my main OC and my favourite! i've tried to write out him as well as i can, but i have trouble w/ words so apologies for that ;^^ (TW at the start of his bio)

RATING(1-10): 6/10

EXPLAIN RATING: I'm just rating no design! I don't know anything about the lore and universe of HS but the thing that stands out the most in his horns. I know there are some characters with to different horn styles? but I never seen one like his. It's unique. I they're adorable especially cause of the freckles. 

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Sydney

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Monster High oc. uhhh that's it.

EXPLAIN RATING: I rather like her backstory & personality; although I'm not a big fan of her colors.  Nor do I know much of Monster High.

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Oxy

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Not much to say, except he's simply the main character in a story I'm writing.

RATING(1-10): 4

EXPLAIN RATING: I really like the colour palette, all the colours work really well together. I also like the thorn theme. But to be honest, those are the only thing that really attracts me about them. After reading their description, I looked at the reference again, and had to do my best to notice what was going on with the jacket, and if they were even wearing one in the drawing. That's never really a good thing in designs, you want your characters to read easily to be the most appealing. The weird, clunky anatomy also throws me off. It looks like it was the artists' stylistic choice, but even so, anatomy is a big part of the character. All in all, they aren't that memorable, and in my opinion, could use a redesign!

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Akh

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: This has been mentioned a few times, butI didn't give them an Egyptian-themed mask on purpose. It felt like it would make them too generic. Also, I designed him myself and I'm looking to improve so please don't hold back

EXPLAIN RATING: Honestly, Akh has decent character design, not really terrible, though. Its mask, eyes, and body shape look very good I have to say, but problem is, the color scheme feels very jarring and bland, and its why I took off 3 points for my rating, like it doesn't look as alive as the character itself. I think I would recommend you make the color scheme slightly more balanced, just don't go too overboard with it. Overall, Akh doesn't look terrible, but I think it looks really nice, and I don't find it to be too generic.

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Anon is one of my older OC's that I heavily redesigned. I know her bandages may seem pretty off.

EXPLAIN RATING: You really got the owl part across in her design! Her palette is also nice to look at, and for some reason looking at it is quite soothing for me haha- Her design is also simple to look at; however, I find the wings are kinda a bit dark and stick out a bit, but that's kind of a minor nitpick of mine.

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: N/A

EXPLAIN RATING: Her overall design is pretty good, but what I don't really like is the color palette, or, rather, how you use it. The dark purple and the dark blue kinda merge together, so it's hard to see the details. And the white stars make it even worse because they are so contrasty that they drive all the attention, so the design looks too complicated. Maybe consider making the colors a bit more light or make purple and blue more different.

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: Not really.

EXPLAIN RATING: Personally, I think the police outfit on Jimmy looks pretty good! If anything, it's memorable--it looks enough like an old-fashioned police officer's coat but tweaked enough so that it still looks unique. The only thing about it is that it looks a little clunky, perhaps?? Maybe removing some of the buttons on the front would make it look a bit less busy. Also, I'm not entirely sure what the strap across the chest on his suspenders is for but maybe that's how older suspenders work? If so, then ignore me. His casual outfit is pretty cute, though, and overall he's quite adorable!

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Temperance Knight

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SHARE ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: She's part of a group of vampire siblings, and she's the one with the more traditionally macabre interests (dead things, bugs, etc.). Not much to say beyond that!

RATING(1-10): 5

EXPLAIN RATING: This is more of a personal feeling about the character, but I feel like reds and greens are kinda difficult to pull off together, and the red eyes with the color green chosen for the hair/clothing doesn't really sit right with me. Her hair was also another downfall for me, because I find her outfit to be so adorable, but the size of her hair kinda distracts me from it, and I find myself focusing on that more than anything else. BUT TO THINGS I LIKE! Her expressions are always solid, and I get a good feel of the character through every design without reading her bio. And again, that outfit is so cute I could cry. Especially the shirt, all the details on it (my favorite part of it being the vest with the diamond buttons) is especially cute. 

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Vittorio

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: He is a semi-historically accurate plague doctor from the Renaissance time period. I kinda amped up the regular plague doctor design to make him more visually appealing. He also has lavender in his mask (something plague doctors would do, thinking that good smells would keep the sickness away). The bird on the staff he holds is his family crest.

EXPLAIN RATING: i always like plague doctors theyre really cool and an interesting part of history. i kinda wish vittorios plague doctor outfit stood out more but considering its supposed to be historically accurate i can understand why its like that. i also like the addition of lavender, it goes well with the colors of his outfit and makes sense for someone with his job to have. also hes very cute outside of his plague doctor outfit, i like the way he looks in general, he fits the time period very well. and lastly i think the bird design on his cane is cool and pretty and also makes a lotta sense from what i know about that time period.

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: necrofur

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: i dont have much to say about her that you cant see through her design other than necrofur was designed to be like an improved version of one of my other oc's designs.

EXPLAIN RATING: Their eye and two tails make them very unique! Plus the bandanna is a nice touch of colour. 

YOUR CHARACTER'S NAME: Columbina

ANYTHING YOU'D LIKE TO SAY ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER: She's a member of a demon gang called the White Suits! She's very shy though and only really talks to the two other women in the group.

EXPLAIN RATING: Oof my goodness, this character has such a unique yet simple design! The body portions are interesting along with the color choices. Her mask isn't too detailed, though I do like the little touch of "lipstick". They aren't necessarily a character I would use myself, but I could see them in an official comic or cartoon! ^^)/
