I'd imagine Cheriss tends to act as regal as possible. This can make him seem rather uptight and out of touch with everyone else. Might insist as being treated like a king, perhaps?

Archer doesn't like grading papers or doing school work, despite being a professor, but It absolutely makes his night when students put some goofy -butnottechnicallyincorrect- answer on something and he spends the next few hours smiling in amusement when nobody is looking about it. He might even write a snarky note back if they particularly amuse him.
Noelani is able to squeak, mostly to get attention subtly from someone else or when getting super excited about discovering a thing
The last time Thorn attempted to go outside of the garden, he ended up scaring everyone he saw. Whilst he never intended to do that, he ended up accidentally causing mass terror and panic across the area and ended up just fleeing back to the garden when confronted. People didn't go out of their homes for weeks due to this sighting.
