14/11 update - Rule update
From this point on, it's required that your post adheres to at least ONE (doesn't need to be all of them) of the following qualities
- You give at least three reasons or elements that made you fave the character
- You write at least three sentences explaining your choice
- You write a full paragraph that details why you enjoy the character
Note you are allowed to do more than these, but these are the minimum requirements.
If none of the above qualities are met, I'll issue a warning and a chance to edit your post to follow this new rule, and repeat offenders or people who won't edit their post to follow the rule will be banned from this game. This rule has been put in place to ensure everyone gets a response that is enjoyable to read. I'd also like to ask everyone to please read what the above person asks for, for example when giving a folder of characters to choose from or requesting to also read their profiles instead of just looking at the images.
Everybody loves getting favourites, so why not make a game where faves are guaranteed and people can compliment your OCs?

▶︎ Go to their gallery and choose a character you like most.
▶︎ Add that character to your favourites.
▶︎ Edit your comment to explain why you chose that character to fave. Your reasons can be anything, whether it's that you like their design, you read their story and think it's original, because you share the same name with the character, or something entirely different. Keep it nice!
Please also follow these rules to make sure the game stays fun for everyone!
❖ Don't be rude, insult people's characters, or make inappropriate comments. "I like Jef because I didn't think it was possible to be so ugly" comments are not a good reason to fave and will result in an instant block from this and my other threads.
❖ Actually fave the character! Don't only say what you like. Remember that this is a fave game primarily!
❖ Try to go into detail with your explanation. "The way his dress compliments his skin tone works so well and the texture of his hair is too gorgeous" is more fun to receive than "I like his design"!
❖ If there are any disputes that need my input as the thread owner, please PM me at my main, ElithianFox. I'll answer much faster on there than on here!

Wonderland
I saw Alexander earlier and thought he looked real cool, and his profile cemented how neat he is. He's a class gangster, all right. I need more art of him!
I'm a sucker for characters with hidden faces, and Merlin's design is very intriguing. Kieran also looks nice, both in a human and dragon form!

Okay so, 1) I absolutely love the idea and inspiration for Terry! It's always the real life experiences/influences that can make some good characters! Hopefully one day that man can catch a break and not a cold! 2) I also really love Dr. Decius! I love how fleshed out his character seems to be, and it really does show that this is a character you've had for a while! I love the design described for him as well!
I tried to not just favourite every character you have because man you make some really nicely done and fleshed out characters???

I favorited Austin! His design certainly caught my eye, I love how he's based on a candy cane! (Given some of my own characters I'm a sucker for that stuff) I like how he treats his customers and his employees, he sounds very entertaining. And I definitely wonder about the cannibal rumor, that sounds super interesting! A+ character! :D

OBLIGATORY SUB i just love the art you made for all of your characters so much?? they're all so beautiful and i love the aesthetic???? oh my gosh
First off, starting with Athen! For someone who's invested into knowledge and is very scholarly at heart I feel like the name suits him extremely well, considering it first brings to mind the city Athens and there are plenty of famous philosophers from there in the past. Bonus points for him actually favouring works from Greece, because that's a pretty neat nod to that, even though it's a small detail! Design-wise I love any fantasy design and he really fits the bill on that - his wings are gorgeous and I love the stars incorporated into his outfit and wings?
Here are some others that I favourited and why:
- Vercingetorix has some really stunning art in their gallery????? I also like their relationship with their pretty-much-twin, Askiteal! I find it really endearing that they dont like to be separated from them too much because it just goes to show how much they care about their twin??? Most importantly THEY ARE A DRAGON AND I LOVE DRAGONS???
- Following from that Askiteal is a Jerboa which is a kemonomimi I haven't seen that much, I feel? Their tail is adorable *u* I also love their art because it's so cute and gives me really warm feelings for this character!
- I favourited Haruki because of the flower motifs - they're just incorporated in such a creative way in her hair, and on her outfit that it really adds to the beautiful design of the character? And I feel it also contributes to the naturey vibe she gives off!
- I favourited Murasaki because I love the unique horns and the colour palette - it's very vibrant and it's soothing at least to my eye!
- I love Vedas' iridescent-like palette, and especially the design to do with the face. His eyes are very uniquely drawn and I love the accessories (earring, eyepatch) as well as the hairstyle. It was the first thing that popped out to me about this character! I like that one of his obstacles as a character is overcoming his ways of dealing with stress and not keeping it inside, namely due to his backstory - it's a very relatable feeling, even though he vented it via terrible means for a period of time. It just makes him feel more human as a character as we all make bad decisions when we deal with similar obstacles. Which is interesting as well, considering he's supposed to be a divine, and even he is not immune from this!
- Both Gavril and Enfys have stunning designs. I just love every aspect about them! Character-wise I love the contrast in their personalities - it makes a lot of sense considering their backstory, and definitely could be used for symbolism in writing!!
Alraza is beautiful! I love witch characters so much, and she's got such a unique power! <3

Mariette Volatica is quite a neat character! She's very pretty and has got a nice design, and I really like how she holds herself to a higher standard as a succubus (because she is one of the few royal succubi that exists). While that trait isn't necessarily new to royal type characters, it is pretty unique for a character who is a succubus I think, and it makes her stand out! The fact that a lot about her is contrary to typical succubi is quite interesting as well. Overall a great character! :D
