Heya! Figured I'd start up a thread like this as I abolsutely love finding various music, and noticed there isn't a thread for this here yet! Plus, thinking on it, a good few of my OCs are inspired by some songs and music in general, and it never hurts to be on the hunt for more music to check out!
Basic Rules:

2. Give your thoughts on it - is it something you liked, or is it just not your cup of tea? Did it inspire you to make an OC on the fly? Feel free to express this as much or as little as you want! (Please be respectful and civil in your reply, though.)

I feel as if I've heard this song somewhere before? But it's got a catchy music background, and it has a quite visible message to it! It's good that songs try to show things like this, but it is kinda sad, yes.

1st song - holy crap. I like dark songs, it made me think almost of Bacterial Contamination. I hardly take "flashing lights" too serious, I'm not epileptic or anything but OH MY EVERYTHING that red-blue flash. Hello Porygon scene, fancy seeing you here. But it was still good though video compression was making it hard to see lyrics I wanted to know.
2nd song - I really liked this song too! This one was calmer and almost made me think of Lost One's Weeping, I think is the title.

Ooh, I really like this! It's very cool and relaxing, it's probably something I'd listen to to go to sleep or to study or something. I like trance-y electronic music like that. Might add it to my music list!
I would like to recommend "FAKE STYLE" by FAKE TYPE., if anyone here likes electroswing or Japanese tunes! The vocals are very toonish-sounding but it kinda works with the music imo, and it has a neat animated video to go with it!
Awh dude, I love FAKE TYPE!! I don't listen to their stuff enough, but it's cool! Absolutely loving their voices and the animation in this one! :D

Honestly I've just discovered Oingo Boingo's music recently, and man it's so weirdly satisfying to listen to! Who'da thought Danny Elfman had a band before working on music for films and all? It's likely this isn't gonna be something a lotta people would like, but man this song i love to just jam out to a bunch while i draw :"D
UGHHH THE GUITAR'S-----SO DELICIOUS----Man, old music is sure a blessing. It's so catchy, but it could be so badass at the same time?? I guess it's the guitars after all! I am in love!!! The voice is mmmnnnn, beautiful!

I had to listen to Soraru's cover because the original wasn't available in my country u_u Hey, though, it's really good! I'm sure the original's good too (GUMI's my favorite) but the guy covering it has a really smooth voice, and the song's really catchy in general! It's amazing, I'm really in love. The music video is rad as hell, too.

Oh yeah, I remember coming across this song before. The voices are pleasant and there is an interesting twist to the story, so it's a fun song. And I always enjoy songs with implications of murder.
"Age of Shadows" by Ayreon is always a good one. Makes more sense when you understand the story of the album, but it's still fun on its own.
