Ask 5 Questions to the Above Person's OC!

Posted 7 years, 12 days ago (Edited 6 years, 11 months ago) by isopods

I've seen a couple of threads where people can ask OCs questions.  However, I thought it might be interesting if those questions covered more of the character's development without having to post multiple times to receive multiple questions.

Rules and Guidelines

  1. Please comment in-character.  The character you post as will be the next character to be asked five questions.
  2. Once your character is asked the questions from the next poster, please edit your initial comment to answer the questions.
  3. Please ask questions that contribute, at least somewhat, to the character's development.
  4. Please read the character's profile and the person's profile before asking any questions.

2nd Revival time!!

- Is the Lovesick route similar to Snowgrave in the sense of how it's like?
- How did she meet Mettaton? What was her initial reaction to meeting him?
- Is there something that makes her not be able to use magic?
- How does she learn the Lovesick spell?
- Why does she dislike Berdly so much? Was there something that happened between the two that caused a disliking?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- "Has Cesar ever had a close call with an alternate, other than what happened to his mother?"
Cesar has had multiple close calls with alternates, he's been known to frequently see them around the house, inside and out, which is why he had called Jonah and Adam. Both Jonah and Adam had gotten rid of the Alternates well enough for him and Mark to live peacefully together. His mother's death is an obvious close call, even though he never saw the alternate he got out of his house as fast as he could to the ER.

- "Does he ever think he'll leave Mandela? Since it's mentioned that he may move to Blythorne for his safety."
He thinks he will, in the end, he has to convince Mark to let go of Mandela County and eventually move to Blythorne County. Since he knows two people there, he thinks getting a house there would be a simple enough task in the end, even if it would cost a lot of money.

- "Is there a story around him liking flowers, or more specifically, roses?"
Cesar's a big fan of flowers, he grew a garden when he was young with his parents, and decided to continue growing a garden even when he became older. He really likes roses due to the fact it represents love, as he always wears one in his pocket to give to Mark whenever he sees the other. It's a kind gesture by Cesar, and Mark appreciates it a lot.

- "In his occupation, Cesar is a freelance writer. What does he usually write? Are there stories he's working on right now?"
Cesar writes a lot of fantasy and fiction, based on the alternates he's seen in his life. He passes them off as fictional beings when in reality he knows their full potential of them. He's currently working on a long-running story based on his life with the alternates, and how his close calls almost made him dead.

"In his story, it is mentioned that Cesar and Mark still live together, and "even consider each other as boyfriends." Does this mean they still aren't official? Or I guess what I'm trying to say is what exactly is the relationship between Cesar and Mark right now?
Cesar considers him and Mark to be boyfriends, Mark is still hesitant about the idea but agrees to the fact he goes have a romantic interest in Cesar. Cesar has told Mark before that he's had a romantic interest in the other, while Mark has reciprocated, he's still nervous about the idea of dating someone. Cesar encourages him to be forward with him, and Mark has stated that he does want to be in a relationship, but doesn't know exactly where to start. The two are considered boyfriends, but Mark is hesitant.

REVEAL >:D

"I am a natural born demon, where I am from there are only a few very rare cases of turning, hehe"
"I enjoy all of my treatments very much, but my favorite cases are reattaching heads, I love hearing the screams of the patient after a success!"
This is from me, not Salem, but anyway the song was chosen due to it being one that was a little insane, appearing cute at first, and relating to nurses and health issues.
I don't exactly understand what you mean by competition, but if you mean another nurse coming to be, none last as long or have treatments as affective, and by chance if someone does, well Salem would probably just wait for them to either die or their hospital to be attacked, as territory is watched over heavily in the 13th region
"Well if I knew I would tell you, but the best I can do is say, when I was younger, I was in a sticker predicament after my family was... splattered in front of me! I was so excited and the monster looked at me with disgust, and tried to take me out too, and well, every time they tried, not a single injury was there, and they got worn out. I found the joy of taking them apart and putting them back together over and over, which inspired me to become a nurse!"

Ald'rid JupiterJay

1. Where did his powers come from?
2. Does he really enjoy helping others, or does he feel it's his duty?
3. Is there a reason or a story to the blindfold? (feel free to keep it vague, love the mystery)
4. Has anyone other than Arkanis found or read his diary?
5. Why does he want to keep people on the island? What does he gain?

---

Thanks for asking!!

1. He wouldn't dream of changing back. Shapeshifting is an honored once in a lifetime practice for him and his species. Even if it was the only thing between him and going home he wouldn't do it. He misses being home but he can learn to be happy away from them!

2. Ooh good question. Being her therapist, he knew Yara was reserved and often exhausted from her job. She didn't ask to be captain, and started seeing him more often when she got that position. After she and Ichaelaya joined, Ald'rid was the first, and probably only crew member to notice the sudden change. Ichaelya made it a point to avoid his sessions so that she wouldn't be caught. It wasn't until she went out with a sabotaged suit and still somehow came back alive that he confronted her. He promised never to tell anyone as long as she came to therapy. They've continued to be good friends and confidants since.

3. The ship has a holodeck and the hologram was the combined effort of him and an engineer with a cat allergy. Making the program and setting aside time for it so the crew could have their sessions without sneezing had a few hiccups but otherwise generally well.

4. He does, and tries hard to keep himself busy and useful. He's grateful for everything that happened that made him what he was, but the fact that he can't contact his home planet to tell their families of their deaths weighs on him every day.

5. He is currently practicing though it's hard to use his engineering degree with kitty paws, if he ever has to give an order involving fixing something he keeps a close and careful eye on what it is.

Saturn Swissy

1. When in face of many attention focusing on her, say, infront of a crowd, how well does she handle it?

2. What's their first impression and current opinion of the darkners? (Example: Queen, Lancer)

3. Does she have any troubles at school

4. In relation to question 3, how does she handles troubles at school? E.g, berdly's pretentiousness or difficult subject?

5. Does she ever miss or wonder what her birth parent could be like? How does she feel to the fact that there were no recorded sheep monster in town?

EDIT: also changed ic jfhfjsjjhjdjd

Maiya bailysis

Swissy

Saturn is listed as a researcher - what exactly does she research?

Follow-up, how did her family gain their wealth?

Apart from work, what are Saturn's goals?

Does Saturn have any individuality, or did they grow up to be another pawn in their family's company? (i don't mean this question as an insult btw, I think this character is really cool!)

What trait about herself does Saturn take the most pride in / what do they appreciate the most about themself?

They are like AUs! So not a shapeshifter.

Conures!

I highly doubt she saw her mother again.

She's cool with kids! She probably won't have any herself, but doesn't mind hanging around them.

Yes, Maiya and her dad live together and they have a very close bond.

Fuun / 不運 Spinebby
  • Is Maiya able to transform, or are the different forms (human, feral, etc) sorts of AUs?
  • Does she have a favorite type of bird?
  • Has Maiya ever seen her mother again since she left?
  • Does she like children or no?
  • Is she still in contact with her dad?
np; Fuun has a lot of info, so if it's too overwhelming Cello has less

1. What is Cello's favorite drink? why they like it?

Cello loves Bloody Marys. He likes the kick of spice and has a bias towards vodka.

2.  Cello seems to be a musician of sort, do they have a band or they only go solo?

Cello very rarely performs with others. Sometimes he'll call up random people onto stage to sing with him, but that's about it. He adores the spotlight and doesn't like to share it too much. It all has to be strictly on his terms.

3. How did they learn music or at least playing instrument?

As a god he was created with the instinct! It's sort of how an animal naturally knows it should hunt when placed in the situation/sees prey. Cello usually plays the Lyre or Harp, but he does switch it up sometimes with an Electric Guitar or Drums! Whatever he can get his hands on and is in the mood for. He covers music, and writes his own little melodies

4. If they are in Europe, which country do you think they are settled in?

He'd definitely hop around countries, though I'd say his favorites are Greece and Italy. Partly due to the old history within those places, and the fact that he's coded to be Italian. He feels most at home in Italy.

5. How does Cello does their pranks, is it random or in a specific person?

Completely random, man, woman, child, poor, rich; nobody is safe from this little shit!

Sotiris Athanasiadis Nuclear-Hydrangea

Spinebby I'll give questions for Cello

1. What is Cello's favorite drink? why they like it?
2.  Cello seems to be a musician of sort, do they have a band or they only go solo?
3. How did they learn music or at least playing instrument?
4. If they are in Europe, which country do you think they are settled in?
5. How does Cello does their pranks, is it random or in a specific person?

1. What are Sori's feelings when he wakes up in the hospital after his house's burst up, and realizes he'll have a scar on his face for forever?

Sotiris' face has a bandage at the time he was in the hospital, he didn't see his face until he was released. When he looked in a shop's mirror, looking his own reflection, the scar is a reminder of something evil lingering in the family since the past. He felt angry when he saw his burnt face. that ruined his beauty and such. Has a desire to kill whoever did this to him.

2. What would he do if a capitalist charged him for appearing in a place (like galleries, music shows,...)?

Sotiris would tell to them "f*** off" and argue about charging anything, asking the capitalist person if they ever did something good for the community using their wealth. The galleries and music shows Sotiris went to are free of charge because he believes that everyone should have the freedom to see people's expression. If Sotiris' artworks was bought buy anyone with a capitalist background, he just receive the money but he will use it for mutual aid or anything that actually benefit the community at all.

It also happens sometimes where he was charged in art galleries just because he exists but anyone else was free to enter, he is known to be opinionated and abrasive towards the high art scene.

3. What would be his reaction if a lady ordered him to play piano for her?

Sotiris would be pleased to play for the person, and he will love it more when its classical piece was requested.

4. Where did he get his favourite music genre (inspired by someone, or just simply like them) ?

Sotiris started out punk first before goth music, thanks to his grandfather and his father, also the place he lives has a pretty strong punk scene so that also influenced him. He got interested in goth after he heard albums of bands like the Damned and Γενια του Χαους, which they are punk bands that have some dark, gothic sound in them.

5. Wait, what's the food he's eating in the "About" section for the full-version profile? Is that his favourite food?

He is eating Koulouri Thessalonikis, and yes, that's his favorite food. Koulouri is a Greek snack resembling a bagel or a donut but with a wider hole and filled with seeds.

ZeppK it’s been a while, so pinging just in case :]

1. It’s said that Eva [who’s “the savior of her life”] end up performing experiments of Tsuki’s body as well as torturing her. Is Tsuki aware of this mistreatment? If so, is Tsuki simply still “being friends” to Eva, or have they drifted apart since?

2. This one’s a typical question, but with especially her being associated with an historical event, I’m really curious, what was your inspiration for Tsuki? Like what inspired you to develop her? :O

3. What does she admires about the Samurai in the past that made her wanted to be one?

4. When was the first time Tsuki knew about the family heirloom’s katana?

5. Does she ever misses her old, happier self? Or would she resent it nowadays?

next person: feel free to ask romeo, rancher, or anyone here!
edit: also please ping me! it’s just been a while y’know skksksx

1) Does Romeo have his own collection of party games or does he rely on others to bring them?
Yes he has plenty of party games! If anything, folks would pretty much go to Romeo for them. He has like a whole collection and he’s been collecting since he was a kid, it almost seems like he has all sorts of party games. Romeo still loves to occasionally buy another addition to the collection to this very day.

2) Farmers I've heard about are incredibly stoic when it comes to medical health and only go the doctor when their foot's like falling off or something - what would it take for Romeo to take himself to the doctor?
I’m assuming you’re talking about physical check-ups, and if that’s the case, Romeo’s someone that rarely gets sick or hurt, so yeah it’s rare for Romeo to go to a doctor at all. When Romeo does feel a little ill though, he’ll mostly just continue his day, take an over-the-counter med, and might even work as usual. If he did suspect he caught something contagious [like flu], he’ll just stay at home but that won’t make him go to the doctor [unless a friend told him so hhh]. Tho if he suspected something more serious, he would consider taking himself to one I guess, but he’d prolly ask a friend for their opinion first.

3) On above note, does he have a regular doctor/family physician that he sees?
I… have not thought about that aha- But knowing that Romeo has a hard time opening up, I think he’d highly prefer to go to the same doctor every check up. Because of familliarity y’know. He would probably feel a bit more comfortable checking up with someone he’s more used too.

4) Does he have any dogs to help him on the farm? or perhaps cats?
I have realized I have not considered this. I’ve thinked about it for a while, and maybe there would be a dog? To keep predators like foxes  away for sure. Though there’s a chance the dog would be taken care as a pet by another member in the farm? Something like that? Yea.

5) Has he ever had major issues with pests like mice or locusts?
Pests are surprisingly the least of the issues in Sunny Day Farms. It probably happened once or twice [or maybe few more], but it was more minor. The most major issues he had to deal with was weather.
