I've been searching all over for the original thread, but it seems to be gone so here's a new one!
This thread is similar to the rate the character design above you thread, but it focuses more on the written aspect of the character. Written info, links, relationships, powers, all of that.
Some basic rules and guidelines
▶︎ Claim first posting IC as the character you want rated, then edit with your rating /10 and explanation to avoid being ninjad. @ the person you claim!
▶︎ You can give some extra info about the character you'd like rated if wanted.
▶︎ This is a feedback thread, meaning that posting in it won't always yield praise. Keep in mind your character may be criticised.
▶︎ That being said, stay polite! Low ratings are allowed as long as you constructively explain why you rated the character that without attacking or insulting the creator. Rude behaviour will result in a ban from the thread.
▶︎ It's hard to avoid personal taste in feedback. Still try to make largest part of your rating come from a critical standpoint. You can dislike a character but still acknowledge they are well written.
▶︎ This thread is about profile info over design. Design can be given feedback in relation to what is written in the profile, but for a full design review go to the design rating thread.
▶︎ A good rule of thumb is to write a minimum of three sentences of feedback. More is always allowed and encouraged!

Design: 9/10
I love, love, love how he looks? The design is really eye-catching and simple, but in a good way. He has a warm-themed color pallete with very good color combinations, sort of reminds me of a sunset to a degree! I could see him being a good AC villager model, a simple and fun to look at design. I like his outfit as well, his glasses/binoculers (sorry for the misspell) reminds me of what Carl and his wife would wear in UP as children. Overall a very nice designed character and the color combinations make him a pleasing character to look at visually.
Personality: 8/10
He‘s quite a bubbly person, even before I took a look at his personality I could sort of decipher what he’d be like personality-wise. A typical, happy teenager who really doesn’t have a lot of bad traits, which while some may say could hinder his overall character, I do find like it suits him. Some of his dislikes are generic, for example his dislike of trauma and hatred but I have some characters like that as well so I can’t complain much. But he has a lot of unique likes and dislikes as well as quirks as well! Hating having his cheeks pulled and liking apples, for example, simple yet perfect ways to flesh him out as a person. Overall I would trust him in a heartbeat, he sounds like such a sweet fella!
Backstory: 9/10
I found his backstory unique, I like how it started off in a soothing tone. Sort of gave me poetry-vibes. It sets the tone of the passage. Seeing it lead to a more eery introduction gave me chills. I felt like I was in his shoes for a second, I could only imagine how I would feel waking up somewhere different and feeling lost. I like how you used narration, most backstories I see are written in the 3rd person but yours tend to switch up from 1st person to 3rd person without confusing the reader, which is nice to see! Reading it I felt bad for poor Salph, I can only wonder what he was thinking. I do like how it implemented the dates of the events, a simple detail for some but it keeps his story flowing. I felt bad for Salph, especially seeing how sweet of a guy he is. He didn’t deserve that. :(
Overall? 8-9/10, honestly. A good backstory, a nice design, and a pretty well described personality with loads of unique quirks and preferences. Some things could be adjusted, but I honestly really enjoyed reading about Salph. And his name is unique as well! I love your fella overall.
For NP, do be advised Keegan’s story gets dark quickly. But outside of his backstory everything else is fairly tame.
Design--☆ 6/10 as a total newbie in the feral department i can't really judge the quality of the design but i must say i love how natural he looks! But i feel as there's not enough individuality in him, it's almost like i saw a character that looks like him hundreds of times before.
Personality--☆ 3/10 honestly, nothing really hooked me in his personality. It's basically an extension of his backstory and very much falls under the 'gay in denial' archetype. While in concept it is great and i really live that archetype ad well as i do like some of his traits i feel as it's not enough, like there's a lot of things missing.
Backstory--☆ 10/10 this right here is my absolute favorite thing about this good boy, there's so much the best, the tastiest glass as well as some fluff to balance it out. Overall a really cool story that can speak to many one personal level, i can see it becoming somebody's comfort literature!
Overall--☆ 9/10 i didn't like everything about this character but the backstory is so good it practically cancels out all the downsides!
Design (7/10): I just love the tiger claw! Stripes are always a win. But beefy men aren't exactly my type. Hot? Sure.
Personality (8/10): Himbo rules! Lmao, but seriously I like that he's a meat head. Also, terrible with money and always in debt. XD
Story (6/10): I wish there was more info on his profille. I wanna know moee about him. He seems pretty interesting
Overall (7/10): I def love the design and persona, but I wish there was more of a story to sink my claws in. But I still enjoyed browsing through his th.
Design, 4-5/10: The grey fur feels out of place along with the saturated yellow and bright pink, and there's little change in value. The grey fur just doesn't allow the accents to look cohesive, and the pink/yellow could be better and easier to look at. But the bangs and tired eyes with colored eyelids are nice design elements and convey her personality.
Personality, 8/10: No bias here. I think she can be used in a compelling way and doesn't fall into any specific archetype, or at least not a common one. She does have an air of mystery to her, makes me wonder if she's genuine or not.
As for her story, I can't rate it. There is no story, but owning a couple of clubs is a nice touch I suppose.
Overall, 7/10: It's be nice to know more about her, I think she has lots of potential as a character but it's not showcased too much and she does lack a little depth to her. Though that's completely fine, fun character.
He has a backstory now incase you're interested in some way, no obligation to rate it of course, unless you want to. vvv
Design - 8.5/10: it's simple but you make good use of colors and shape theory. I love his rectangular looking face and square glasses. As well as his smile :)
Personality - 9/10: soggy french-fry of a man is literally the best way to describe someone lol. He sounds pretty relatable and I'd love to see him in an animation. I think he'd really shine then. I like the detail of his just doing odd jestures. It paints his character pretty well and it's a nice lil detail
Story - ???: I didn't really see one in his profile so I can't really judge it
Overall 9/10: I really him as a character. He's very interesting and I really like reading his profile!! I know stories can be important for characters but I honestly like him either way. He's cool asf
v yeah I'm still trying to figure out how to type out personalities. I like the list format because it's less daunting than a wall of text
Design: (8.5/10) Pretty goof overall! I really love the horns and the blobs of colors. And also the FLOOFY hair.
Personality: (5/10) Its a bit... all over the place text-wise. Some parts are close together, but others are a bit hard to find. But that's probably because it's all in a somewhat unorganized list-like format.
Story: (9/10) It was pretty interesting! Especially the section near the end on the Incident! I found it very nice.
Overall: (8/10) While their profile thing was a bit messy, it was rather interesting story and design wise!
Design: (6/10) It looks pretty cute and is a cute concept! But i find it that some of the colors clash a bit, mostly the blue galaxy shirt and orange crystals distracting from the rest of River's design
Personality: (7/10) I didn't see a lot about his personality, but I like that they're nice to kids and that they flock to em
Story: (8/10) I haven't played lob corp yet so my information on project moon is limited, but from the little i saw it looks quite nice and River fits in well. Curious about their connection to the whole corrosion aspect.
Overall: (7/10) Pretty interesting character overall, would like to see more ab them in more detail :3

Design 8/10: the colors for Bai are perfect and their outfit is perfect! The only issue I have is a nitpick thing, where I don't like the front and back streaks(?) The under patch of lighter hair is good, but the I find the other two odd. But that's just a me thing!! Also after reading their story, I think a small hint towards their origin would be nice? She looks more like a cinnamon bun than coral. Unless there's a cinnamon coral that I'm not aware of :0?
Personality 9/10: Bai is the classic unhinged cutie! It's a fun trope, I think
if not used a lot- but they're a perfectly fine goober 😁
Story 9/10: The story had a very interesting and good start. I didn't see the parasitic coral thing at all. I just find the tower thing a little too random? I think that is the point, but I think an explanation as to why Bai likes towers would be nice
Over I rate 9/10! Bai is a very solid oc and I love her 😁
Design: 7/10 I really likes her design, the clothes are very cool! :3 i just not soo much fan of somes clothes she wear, but her main one its really great! <3
Personality: 8/10 I really loves her personality! I see she talk about her feelings to others too! Thats a really cool thing! I love characters who can do that! <3
Story: 5/10 I confess i dont like the type of "Magic" or "Evil influence" in the stories, but retiring that, you created a good story for her! <3 and i loves a good story ^^
Conclusion: 7/10 She is really a good Oc, with a cute personality and a cool story! :3
