☀️ Say something nice about above user's art

Please make sure to read the rules carefully! They are not long and are here to make sure everyone has a good time and nobody has to be banned

Rules:

  • You must fill your claim within 12 hours! Failing to fill the claim will result in you being skipped
  • Make sure everyone can view your gallery! If you have +18 content make sure it's tagged so that minors can't view it!
  • No passive aggressive or backhanded comments, or anything that could be read as negative or hostile. If you don't like someone's art, don't claim that user. This is a compliment thread, not a critique thread!
  • You can post again after three new posts have been made after yours!
  • If you have already claimed a user once, feel free to compliment one specific piece from their gallery! This is to prevent the game from being clogged
  • Your comment must be at least two full sentencesTry to put effort into your comment, and if you can't think of anything nice to say, maybe don't claim that person at all.

This is not targeted at anyone in particular, but just a reminder that even though cutting your long sentence into two shorter sentences technically gives you the minimum two you need to participate, it's an extremely scummy tactic and absolutely not fair for the person you're claiming! If you can't think of anything nice to say, wait for someone else who you can give a proper reply to. I'm sure you wouldn't want a clearly low effort response either

Banned users:

N/A. Let's keep it that way!

3 warnings = ban from the thread. However, in really big problem situations (insulting and slandering etc) the ban might come immediately

If someone hasn't finished their claim or otherwise causes you trouble, feel free to DM me so I'll give a strike! Please also notify me if someone doesn't follow through the minimum sentence count either!

To be honest, I like it a ton! It definitely shows a lot of potential! I really like your homestuck centered artwork. The way you draw trolls and (what I assume is, never got far with homestuck) the dog man! I think the thing I like most however are the facial expressions. They are very cute and have a ton of unique flair! One tip I might have for ya though, I would suggest maybe applying filters to your artwork? You mainly use traditional, which is dandy, but sometimes the shadows of you/camera can be distracting. Applying filters make the shadows hard to notice, and could even make the drawing look a little cooler! At least, that’s what I’ve noticed with my own work. Hope it helps a little! You’re already doing amazing though :0 keep up the fantastic work!

I have my art on my profile but it’s very out of order so I suggest to look through here more than anything: https://instagram.com/breaddisposal?igshid=rutrh01cps1i

[I won't add any criticism to my claim because it's a compliment thread not a critique one as stated in the OP. :'^)]

Anyway, that aside, I really like how you used coloured markers in some of your traditional works combined with sharpie, and your sketches are neat and clean as well. I also like how you draw the smiles on some others, because I find those to be really cute and tooney, and it gives me vibes from modern cartoons and older anime. In addition, I also like how you used a much darker and duller colour when you shade (I think it's a shade of grey?), which is something that feels nostalgic to me in a good way (I used a shade of grey for shading things in the past hahah...). Lastly, I'll have to say, I love how tooney your art style is, and it's very clean and neat, and there's not a lot going on. Overall, I have to say that your art is very cute and simple!

your style is so cute! i like how it's very simplistic and stylised, but you also don't seem to struggle with tackling complex outfits and designs, i really like the way you draw hair and clothes, and your lineart is also really nice; i love the pixelized style you use especially, it compliments your art really well!

feel free to use my toyhouse art tab, but it's a bit of a mess and there's a lot of old, kinda ugly stuff in there ghjjkss. my instagram or my deviantart are probably my most well organised places for my art, although neither of them have a whole lot on there.

edit ;; wah thank you so much that’s so sweet of you ;;v;;

Alrighty so where do I begin?? Your art is so good it’s kinda hard to figure out where to start lmao!!

But in all seriousness I just absolutely ADORE the colour choices you use for your art! They always blend together very well and nothing seems to look bad! Not to mention that you are so good at adding fluid motions in your poses!! I hope it’s alright if I mention This drawing! The pose is very well done, the body placement (or composition I guess I should say) and just how not-stiff it looks makes the drawing really stand out!!

How you make your facial expressions really stand out to me to! They always seem so genuine it’s mind blowing! How you do your eyes is amazing too! I just love the detail you put in them, it just makes them so pretty!!

Overall your art is super unique and outstanding!! Please do keep up the good work!!

(I hope this is alright! If I need to fix anything please let me know and I’ll try to fix it ASAP!)

your artstyle looks REALLY well developed, like i get the feeling that you've been perfecting it and working towards what it is for a while now! it's also really unique, and i feel like i could pick it out of a group in an instant.

you're great at suggesting the character's mood with posing too omg, your poses feel like they have real weight and physics to them, while still being extremely expressive. it's like i can tell how tense or relaxed the subject is just by looking at it, and get a feel for their personality right off the bat. on the topic of being
i REALLY like your shading as well omg : D like here for example! the colours seem to shift so gradually, but are still extremely impactful. reserved and gorgeous all at the same time. plus, you choose the colours for it really well!!

I'm not the best with words but I will do my best! I think your art style is mega cute! It gives me mega squish vibes and I think it's super cute! I adore how you shade your drawings and how you don't use just black out black lines. It gives it that soft look to your art along with that beautiful shading. I also adore your anatomy it looks really cute and the proportions make it look small which I feel goes with how you shade and line <3. I noticed how expressive all the characters are both facial and body wise. I love the fact you don't seem to be afraid to draw any pose! In the end, you have improved so much and I wish you so much luck! <3

There is a certain distinctness to your art style that I can really latch on to. It feels very unique and grounded in it's execution, which is great! I super love the way you draw your eyes; they are so expressive and full of character, and they really draw in everything towards the face. I really love the splashes of color you add around them sometimes as well.

You have a pretty good eye for blush and shine, and your use of color is really fantastic. It isn't too drab or too vibrant in terms of pallets. Overall, you just have really solid and unique art that I rather like. Great job!

I really like your art, it looks so soft! You have a nice grasp of anatomy and I lowkey envy that, your lines are neat and clean, and the soft shading and rosy cheeks is also really nice! I particularly like this piece! So expressive and sweet looking, and I love the way you shaded the hair! Simple, but effective! Finally, you do a great job making all your characters look distinct, which is no easy task! Keep doing what you're doing because your art is lovely. <3

My DA is here!

i’m on mobile so linking is a pain, but my art tab is a mess so i’d prefer if you used my Instagram or dA, both linked on my profile!

Oh wow, I love how clean and bright your art is! I have little to no skill in drawing most animals so I always appreciate artists that can, not to mention I love the way you do eyes, they're very expressive and pretty! And your line art is absolutely lovely! Overall very very very nice, it's all pretty dang poppin'.

Here's a stash of all my recent art because I don't know how to update social media!

IDK WHY but from the thumbnails alone I was instantly able to spot the fact you draw super adorable noses ;__; < 33 There is such a heavy focus on them in your style and I think the different shapes and sizes really bring out the uniqueness of each character you draw! The way you do expressions is also really admirable: everyone looks so lively and genuine in the way they're drawn, like when they smile you can see from their eyes and eyebrows too and not just mouth that they really are smiling, if that makes sense. Your eye for composition and gestures is also really notable because even in thumbnails you can really get the idea of what is happening in the image and imo that's a super crucial skill to have online where people often decide whether to click on your art or not based on thumbnails alone.

As a thing, I also love the red cheeks and nose you draw for the characters, they're super fun details and pleasing to look at!!

WOLVEN IM SO EMO OVER THIS MESSAGE AAAAA ;______; < 333 I'm so so honored to hear that and it makes my heart so warm waaahh !!!!!

BardicWerewolf

Okay, so, hi! It's me ya gal Wolven - just mentioning in case I get all mushy, and make this awkward. Since, well, I've complimented you on your art earlier, but never gotten a chance to write something actually lengthy and worthwhile ;u; So here we go:

  1.  I want to start off by saying that I really, really love your art style. It's super unique, and it makes it really easy to distinguish it as yours. Plus it's really just aesthestically pleasing to look at with the soft color schemes, and the faces themselves looking oh so lovely. The whole set-up you have for any type of character - whether it's yours or someone else's - just gives some really pleasant vibes. Almost mystical actually. I don't know how to put it into words, but it's just wow.
  2. I love how well you can pull off both humanoids and creatures in your works. I know it's not an easy task to be able to effectively draw some very different types of species, and I always applaud people for that. I know I've recently been trying to expand my horizons as an animal artist going into the world of drawing pople - which just makes me even more impressed and finding someone like that can be a rare role model to be. Plus the way you seamlessly incorportate both animals and humans into one design is really impressive too, and how they're obviously crafted by someone with a very creative imagination.
  3. I also love how you make your backgrounds! The ones I've found may be a smaller part of a bigger picture, but still plays a role in each composition. The details make the background pop out, and still doesn't take away from the message or the subject. Like not too cluttered, but not a lot of open space either. Really nice! Even the simpler ones still set a mood for the overall image.
I don't know what else to put at this time before I begin to ramble further, but your art gives me life. It's always a joy to see it whenever I do as you've helped inspired me to create people! Thank you for that <3
