☀️ Say something nice about above user's art

Please make sure to read the rules carefully! They are not long and are here to make sure everyone has a good time and nobody has to be banned

Rules:

  • You must fill your claim within 12 hours! Failing to fill the claim will result in you being skipped
  • Make sure everyone can view your gallery! If you have +18 content make sure it's tagged so that minors can't view it!
  • No passive aggressive or backhanded comments, or anything that could be read as negative or hostile. If you don't like someone's art, don't claim that user. This is a compliment thread, not a critique thread!
  • You can post again after three new posts have been made after yours!
  • If you have already claimed a user once, feel free to compliment one specific piece from their gallery! This is to prevent the game from being clogged
  • Your comment must be at least two full sentencesTry to put effort into your comment, and if you can't think of anything nice to say, maybe don't claim that person at all.

This is not targeted at anyone in particular, but just a reminder that even though cutting your long sentence into two shorter sentences technically gives you the minimum two you need to participate, it's an extremely scummy tactic and absolutely not fair for the person you're claiming! If you can't think of anything nice to say, wait for someone else who you can give a proper reply to. I'm sure you wouldn't want a clearly low effort response either

Banned users:

N/A. Let's keep it that way!

3 warnings = ban from the thread. However, in really big problem situations (insulting and slandering etc) the ban might come immediately

If someone hasn't finished their claim or otherwise causes you trouble, feel free to DM me so I'll give a strike! Please also notify me if someone doesn't follow through the minimum sentence count either!

Hi :D I love your art style~☆ I really love how you draw faces/ heads and bodies.  It seems like a mix of slight geometric shape and realism in a way but they mix really well together, and your more polished pieces are done wonderfully. You have a great talent for coloring, whether it is those more polished pieces or just sketches. I really enjoy your traditional art sketches a lot too; they're really clean and well defined ^^ Keep it up~♡

For clarification I'm specifically talking about cutting a clearly single sentence in two to put the absolute minimum effort possible. It's not against the rules, it's just super inconsiderate to the person you're claiming and I heavily discourage such actions on a thread that isn't supposed to be a super low effort game.

In all honesty, I really love how stylish your art looks! I love how you add details to the character's hair, and the expressions you draw are really neat. Also, I am really fond of how you shade your art, and your sketches are clean and simple, without too much going on in them. Lastly, the faces you draw give me a really nice mid 2000's aesthetic feel to it, and I think it's a neat touch to your artstyle.

I think your art style is so adorable and playful. It gives me mega chibi and animal crossing kind of vibes which I think are very cute styles. I really like how you draw hair. The hair looks fluffy but very simple. The way you draw eyes is something I don't see very often and I think it's an adorable touch to your art. A big thing I admire about your art is how much work and detail you put into your backgrounds. The colors of the background make the characters pop out a lot and feel alive! Another thing I noticed when I was looking at your gallery is how you pose things as well as how you make some objects really big like weapons and hats. I think that's all a really neat little touch that makes it feel very adorable. ^^

while ur art is simplistic and cartoony, u have the ability to add so much detail and emotion into ur pieces (like here) which isn't easy to do w/ a style like that! ur anatomy is honestly perfect and looks rly smooth and ur lineart is to die for 😭 i absolutely adore ur lineart tbh - i love how the brush u use looks like it's textured somewhat, it makes ur overall art look rly professional! the colours u use are picked well as well, the muted palettes work rly well w/ the overall style~ the shading u do is subtle too, and i rly like the way u do it? it's not quite cell shading i don't think? but how u have a darker outline around the shading is such a neat little detail and makes it work rly well - and ur also able to do a few different kinds of shading, like the shading i was just talking abt and a more blended/dramatic style (see first pic i linked - and i know there's probs a better word to describe it but i can't think of it) and that's a rly good skill to have! :D

i'm gonna cry thankyou so much :''''00 <33!!

you are an adept with poses AlleycatIrony!! you can pack so much personality and detail in each canvas; everything from the character's position, to their expression, to their body language tells the viewer so much about who they are and their backstory, just from a glance!! i can really see how much thought and care you put into each character and their design - your palette choices are absolutely stunning (they're colorful, but not at all overwhelming, and are a treat to look through and appreciate the colors you picked!) and i love the way you draw clothing, it's so intricate and you pull it off so well! all the different shapes in your designs (from the facial features to the body variances) are wonderful and you've clearly got a great skill when it comes to illustrating a plethora of creatures and people - it makes me wanna keep looking through your gallery just to see what else you've drawn and how much personality you've captured in each individual piece!

my favorite thing in your style is the way you draw horns (of all types), they're so detailed and textured! i have an incredible sense of how they'd feel just from the way you've laid your linework and shading, and that's amazing!

AWWW thank you so much!!

ghasterr

well first of all i LOVE ponies....you already got me hooked! i love all the bright colors your characters have, they don't hurt the eyes but they make the characters pop and stand out from each other!! i also love their fluffy hair and cartoony eyes (i'm a huge sucker for bouncy, fun, cartoony styles)! i also adore the varying expressions you use, we all know it's hard to avoid same-face-syndrome but they're all so wacky and varied! overall, your art is 10000000/10 and i love it and YOU

LunaBell

your linework is clean and seamless, it blends in with the rest of the piece. I love how everything feels seamless and slick everything looks. It's stylized and unique. Your style is very cute. I especially love how the eyes look.

Alright, so you have a fantastic way with poses! It is nice to see such varies posing in a lot of the art, and each one holds so much character to it. The way you color and line everything in makes everything really soft and fluffy, but it doesn't take away from the weight of people or objects. Finally, I just really like how you do hair; I'm not sure if it is the volume, the coloring, the gradient, or something else I'm not picking up on. Whatever it is, something about the way you draw hair I really like! You have a lot of lovely art, thank you for sharing it!

with ur traditional drawings, i love the like, more sketchy style of it? maybe because it is a sketch idk fdhjf but i love how that looks! in yours specifically, it kinda reminds me of how animators would work on storyboards and such with somewhat incomplete lines mashing nicely with completed lines. very naisu uwu. in the digital, i love how clean the lineart is. lineart is a very satisfying thing to see and when artists have that smooth crisp nice looking lineart its just real nice. with this piece in specific, i love the aesthetic in is and the cross-hatch detailing!! that looks so fucking rad!!!

I'm a big fan of your soft expressions, cati, the way that they're simple but still convey emotion is something that's kinda hard to do but you do it well! I think a big part of it is that your lineart is fluid and soft, it never feels like it's not thought out. You do a lot with few lines and it's impressive! Every line seems to have a purpose, which is honestly ideal.

The way you draw hair, too, is really good. It looks so soft and fluffy and believable and I wanna ruffle it, lol.

aa thank you so much Aarix.... i always try to make my characters have nice distinct faces and the fact that u like my watercolors makes me so happy :)
