(Sorry if she's OOC ! I'm not that great at writing other people's characters yet)
Stinger thought he was alone in the alleyway, the area looking clear when he had stepped out of the back door of a club to get a break from all the noise. It was that noise he was still trying to clear that made him doubt himself ar first when he heard a slight rustle coming from the dumpsters lining the wall. His ears were still ringing, things were gonna sound a little odd. Right? Though, Stinger supposed it would to be too good to be true to actually be alone in such a seedy city. The next time he heard the slight rustle he whipped around towards the noise, hand reaching for a gun that wasn't there. 'Dammit...' He had already dropped it off to the security at the entrance, not expecting to really need such a thing at a night club.
"You're not a good person, are you?" an unfamiliar voice asked from the shadows, almost accusingly. Stinger had to squint to make out the long-eared form. He didn't answer the question, but he didn't need to. Peach was hired to kill him, so of course, she got a little background info in order to find the pesky insect. It was already pretty clear to her that Stinger really did deserve her suspicion from the start. It wasn't just her skepticism telling her that he was never up to any good.
Stinger dismissed the stranger with a wave of his hand and an over the shoulder. "Sorry man, you got the wrong guy." That quick glance over his shoulder was the only warning he got as the hybrid flew at him, fangs bared. He ducked barely and flinched as she crashed right into the trashcan's behind him, sending the contents of them clattering in her clumsy landing. For a split second, she was still, but to the surprise of her target, she sprung right back up and prepared to fly at him again. She was far more resilient than he had initially given her credit for, and for the first time, he started to take the almost comical event seriously. He prepared to take off and try to outfly her, but to his surprise, he saw one of his wings was now crumpled and misshapen. She hadn't missed him entirely as he had thought.
"You know what you remind me of?" the hybrid asked as Stinger pressed himself flat up against the brick wall behind him. He shook his head, eyes darting towards the opening of the alley...maybe he could make a break for it on foot.
Peach answered her own question, her attitude clear in her voice.
"A bug on a windshield"
And before she even finished saying that last syllable, she flung herself at him for the second time with a snarl.
