(^^^ I’m so sorry if Sir is out of character! ^^^)
Blake heard someone walk in through the front door of his office as he was crouched behind his desk, rustling through files written in his native species’ language. They were a mess he could not let someone see him like this. Besides, hadn’t he locked the doors yet?
“Sorry, the office is closed,” he said from behind the desk, emphasizing the closed to make it clear he could not take any more people in today. No response, no movement, nothing. He sighed with frustration, thinking to himself ‘god can’t a guy take a hint?’
He slowly eased himself up behind his desk and stared directly at the person in his office and his face fell. This guy didn’t look like any media representative or whatever odd organization came to him to talk about his client. In fact, if he looked like anyone Blake worked with it would be the killers themselves. It’s something in the eyes that he just recognizes after seeing it so many times before.
“Oh fuck, you’re tall,” was all he could really spit out in the heat of the moment as he stared wide eyed at the man in front of him. He didn’t move a muscle, and kept his hands visible on the surface of his desk as to not give any sudden cues for the stranger to attack him. He saw the glint of what he could only assume was a knife (though he hoped it was a pen or something) in the would-be assassin’s hand and didn’t want to roll dice on how fast he could cross the room or throw it at him.
“Do- do you want information or something ? I got the files all here you could just uh, comb through them. Or money, I’ve got it mostly in cash in all kinds of wild currencies I can just give you the key to the safe, or fuck you can take the whole box, and then you can be on your wa-“
Blake was interrupted by Sir clearing his throat. He immediately went silent, trying to calm his heart rapidly fluttering in his chest before he had a panic attack.
For the first time the intruder spoke, though to Blake’s dismay it was the last thing he wanted to hear. “I’m sorry, but you probably already know already that’s not what I came here for,” he replied flatly, even tiredly, lining a knife up with Blake’s chest. Letting it fly forward with an expert twitch of his fingers he added, to himself this time, “Though finding the key to your safe wouldn’t hurt.”
