Kyle sighs, his stomach is grumbling loudly and his mouth is getting moody. He's been working all day with no breaks. "I'm exhausted and I just want to eat everything." His mouth agrees, even though all its been doing is yelling at Kyle.

Jake hummed in response. "Same here dude. I could totally go for my moms peach and black raspberry pie." Jake mumbled with a sigh.

"My dad was pretty good honestly! My shop was busy today, I made just enough to help my mom pay this months rent. The left overs I'm using to save up for a new drum kit." Jake said with a small grin.

Roy Lane PicklePantry

"Oh, that's pretty cool! I know enough about percussion to keep a simple beat, so I really envy those good at drum sets! You should definitely stop by my place when you get it, I'd love to hear some tunes and I'm sure my people would too!"

"I'm still not used to... a lot of everything, if I'm being honest. I'm a king even though I never knew I had royal blood, and now all the darkness in my world funnels through me. I've been spending the day trying to learn how to control that, but I'm still not good enough to make even my shadow wave at me! When I went to take a break, I ended up studying politics while listening about laws trying to be passed. I'm going to be honest, I never really cared about it back when I had to vote, so it is taking everything in me to stay focused on one paragraph in a book.
"Uh. So all in all I'd say I've had a busy workday?"

""Royalty is fun when you get used to it! I've been at it for all the years of my life! You get to control stuff, and command things, and nobody can tell you no! Unless... Unless it's against the law. Or uh... if you get grounded. So... yeah!"

"So... Today, me and some friends are starting a prank war to stop a real war. Because somebody said no to overthrowing our parents. At least I'll get to pelt everyone with water balloons and blow things up?"

EternallyScreaming (revived!)

“A prank war? How fun! Wait, did you say there’s a real war too? My goodness never mind I don’t want any part in hurting any more people!”

“Today me and Sir had a really great date! We went and ate a whole ton of ice cream then we went home and totally sugar crashed on the couch! It was so fun but now I’m really, really tired.”

Varx Marclyn

Varx was working on connecting with society and this meant conversing more... And when he saw how happy Cam was with his day, he wanted to express it back, even though that wasn't how Varx felt on the inside. He gave Cam an awkward smile, trying his best to mask a normal reaction to good news. He slightly blushes then finally shyly spoke, "Heh, I'm glad the two of you had fun. Must be great just to have someone to do fun activities with." He began to feel nervous around Cam and their interaction. "I- I am so happy for you..Er.. him.. the both of you? So happy that you had a pleasant date..."

-------------------

Today was a great day, he'd made some interaction with people. Though he knew his social ques were off and made some weird gestures, he still felt pretty good about himself. "Having a great day, I think I'm getting the hang of this. This thing that we do as people, talk?" As he quietly chuckles to himself.

( MagicOfTheCosmos how nice of Aaron to butter Varx up even though Varx just be one weird dude. haha! )

Orchid zinnia

Orchid smiled!
"I'm so glad to hear that! From someone in a similar situation to another - I believe your parents must have been as happy to see you after so long as you were to see them. I wish that you'll be able to meet up again soon as well-! And until then, having the necklace as a memento always helps."

--

"On a similar note..."
"Today was my birthday! I've done a terrible job keeping track but I'd be..." Orchid counts briefly on her fingers. "60! Feels old thinking about it. I was able to briefly visit my wife and daughter and call then for a while later, and it's always so nice to hear how they're doing-! Even if my daughter gets herself into more trouble than she needs..."
"I only get to see them a couple times a year, but it means the world to me, even if I can't be there for much longer than that. The next time I see them is in May, so even though I just met with them, I'm already thinking about the next time we can get together."

Grandfather Milkman

"Ah, it's hard to keep track of how old you are after sixty years, isn't it? Even I lost track of how old I am." He came down in wonder, trying to figure out how long ago he could possibly remember of when he last tracked his possible age. At this point, Atticus doesn't know as to when he was born, so what is the point of trying to figure out his age? He shrugged away these worries he had developed. "However, 60 years old? You're looking fantastic for someone of that age. Your loved ones must definitely be thinking about you - knowing that you were born to this day. Tell me more about them, would you?"

_____

"Work is busy, as it is the usual. It was less hectic last week, considering no more death threats towards my employees and possible criminal accusations that were nowhere near my fault. There is rarely the time I can sit down in my private life without bring disrupted with a single phone call or text without involving the office..." he loomed over the window, reminded of how a single corporate office worker could be so stubborn even with the CEO overseeing his actions. Not even an hour later, he was tempted to grab him by the limbs and throw him out the window and see him fall into his potential death. Yet the third time he did that had almost costed him his whole corporations but with the help of his own knowledge of bring in court and the law firm business - he's rarely in trouble. So to solve his own problems, he's been throwing a couple of chairs out the window for the past week until his secretary found a replacement.

"So far, the day is going well now. After a few chairs and a couple glasses of water - I am okay. Today I will be seeing my beloved family. For once my wife and husband are free from their job for a few days. And the kids? As rambunctious as they could be since they were little, they'll continue to be rowdy enough to keep me awake throughout the day."

Terry Lovejoy PicklePantry

Terry took a long, thoughtful sip of his coffee. He gazed at his reflection. All these years and it looks like he hadn't even changed.
"I don't know why you thought I needed to know all of that," he muttered before blearily looking up at Grandfather. It looked like all sorts walked into his classroom these days. "I don't know why different chairs made you feel better. Look, I've got a lot of grading to do. Which reminds me, tell Jr. to stop distracting all the other students. He keeps bragging about his banana shirt. Enjoy the weekend, and tell Emery I said hello."

"Today is freezing," Terry grumbled before sneezing. "I hate it. I hate the cold. I'm already sick as is, this just makes it worse. A few of my students are already out because of a cold they caught, but not before spreading it to me. I'm tempted to just go to the Nurse's Office for lunch and sleep this off."

Livia Augustina goblinrights

"Oh darling, I'm glad you've had an adequate day." Livia smiles at the young boy, completely calm. "But, you peaked my interest with the term Mario Kart. What is it? Is it a new sport? Is it like that Marco Polo thing?" She tilts her head, mirroring the actions of a confused puppy. "I've never heard of anything like it before, though that is my own fault. I don't concern myself with things like games anymore, which is sad but true. My adult life has taken such pleasures out of my hands. Enjoy your youth while it lasts, kitten." She sighs, before perking up again,"But I do expect you to explain to me the rules of Mario Kart, I wish to know every detail about how you play such a game."

"Woe is me! My life is in shambles and my heart is shattered!" Livia enters the room and falls onto the couch, hand pressed against her forehead in a dramatic matter. "Today was simply the worst! I lost one of my golden earrings! I've had them since... oh my, how long has it been? The sixteenth century! And now it's gone forever! And the fact that I lost a potential date due to my lack of eye-phone is just salt in the wound! Curse these newfangled technologies! All I want to do is curl up and sleep for a thousand years!"

Chris Jensen truelexblue

Chris tried his best to keep a straight face in spite of what was playing in his head. "Ah... I'm sorry to hear that. That earring must have been very valuable. I mean, on the bright side, you could sell the other one if you wanted to - or you could just wear it on it's own, sometimes wearing one earring can look nice."

His hands continued to fidget on their own. "I don't know much about online dating, though. My experience is quite sparse." Really, the only experience he had in that department was when he had Grindr for a week, uninstalling it from his phone immediately once a few bad experiences pushed his social anxiety over the edge, but Chris preferred to keep that to himself. At least he got lucky with his boyfriend.

"I, uh... had to take a break today. Nothing spectacular, really." Chris's foot tapped against the ground, his apprehension telling him to leave his seat - as per usual. "Luckily, all my work was done, so I was able to stay home without any repercussions, for the most part. No one can escape that looming feeling of school and work sneaking up on you... but... Nate made it all better, I think." A slight, fond smile touched his cheeks as thoughts of warm embraces and comfort food sprinkled with love crossed his mind.

"...Sorry. Enough about me - how are you?"
