My experiences with BoiMilk:
On December 7th I ordered a commission from BoiMilk for 50$. After 5 months of radio silence I asked for an update and BoiMilk offered a refund. I was hesitant because I really liked their art so I asked if how long did they think it would take for them to finish. I got zero response and so after a few weeks did a chargeback because the buyer protection was ending soon. All the screencaps of the conversation are here.
After a while I was curious and saw that their profile had a good amount of comments asking for an update and one person asking for a refund.
Yet instead of giving responses they've just made more adopts with extras you could pay for in the form of icons.

I truly hate that it has come to this point, but I have grown frustrated with the fact that I have been deceived for almost two years now. I do not enjoy that I have to make a journal about this, since I do not enjoy speaking negatively of anyone, but alas this is my last resort.
I do not want for anyone to go to this artist and harass them for this, I merely wanted to advise others since I do not know if I am the only one who has been dealing with this, but considering I have been kind enough for as long as I have.. I do not appreciate my kindness being take granted for.
I had made orders in the past with the user boimilk.. I was given a wip of one or my order, but it ended up being scrapped and left to be redesigned. We had made contact through discord and proceeded to chat through there about what it was we should do. We came to the conclusion that it’d be best to receive my money back, but each time I went to ask for money which was over a few months I was told that it was going to be given to me soon. When I had last messaged the artist we had made a decision on requesting the money back, which was made during May 22nd. Since then I have not yet received anything from them. Before I made contact with them on discord I had left a note to them that to this day has been left unread.

This goes way back further than you think. They've had and abandoned multiple accounts when people came back to get refunds or what they were owed. They also switch paypals, moving all their money they've earned falsely to new ones so no one can chargeback. I'm honestly surprised so many chargebacks have gone through considering this. This doesn't even mention how they were getting around chargebacks to 'friends'. They made everyone pay in friends and family to skip around it. They said it was because they needed to use the money quick for 'emergencies'.
I and another friend have stayed out of this, having been involved with them and being ex friends with them, but recently we found that they were STILL doing this so we decided we would stop messing around and make a PSA of our own, in hopes that (even if we still don't get our own money back after being owed literal YEARS and HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS, that others may be more lucky and get at least SOMETHING back). If you're interested in how much more we know or adding to anything, we have a PSA now posted. It includes all remembered old accounts they've abandoned(except for two we haven't added yet but we do know of and will add later).

WickedDragon honestly finding out that BoiMilk has so many accounts is pretty eye opening. i didnt know their scamming was this extensive. .-. thank you for making that psa, im just worried BoiMilk will abandon their account just to doge again
No problem. Fleur and I just want to make sure people are aware so no more scamming can happen. As the last post on their account was a month ago almost, I'm worried they've skipped accounts once more myself. I would recommend, if you can, to chargeback as soon as possible- because chargebacks are only available for a certain timeframe, and they could change paypals at any time once more to avoid them. If you're iffy on chargebacking, I understand, but due to this going on since 2015, I have a very hard time believing they are going to change. The only ones who have gotten their money back have either threatened to chargeback, chargebacked, or posted PSA's, and recently not even PSA's have stopped them or gotten them to pay back what they owe. They seem to keep putting off paying people back so that the time frame you can actually use chargeback passes. Good luck in your situation, I really, truly hope, that you get your money back.
WickedDragon oh dont worry i already got my refund since i did a chargeback. strangely they didnt even try to dispute it. however a lot werent so lucky. i have no problem with chargebacks, granted i try my best to find a compromise but in this case i had no choice >.> people like hunny and a lot of others havent gotten their money back, and have the window for a chargeback has passed. i somehow doubt BoiMilk will have a change of heart and refund everyone, but you probably know them better.
I'm glad you were able to get your money back with a chargeback! Honestly I've seen them take coms constantly without delivering AND befriending/getting close to bigger artists just for clout for a long time. I was always a bit afraid to go against them and make a psa back in the day because they're a horrendous shit talker who's really good at manipulating others. They would have spread lies to those bigger artists I admired to cut me off and isolate me. Honestly they do that anyway to their friends, they pitted me and wickeddragon against each other with lies through dms for months and neither of us knew until later, probably did it just for fun! Boimilk uses friends as banks and once the cash flow ends, they cut you out. That's happened to 3 of us who thought we were close friends with them in the past. I don't doubt they've probably skipped accounts again but I can spot their stuff a MILE away so if you ever see anything you can let me know! They did promise refunds before but that never happened so I sincerely doubt they'll refund everyone they've scammed. They purposefully scam people, including friends, and have no intent on stopping.
jeez, wish i'd known about all of this! i'd bought an adopt off them previously so i thought i'd be safe comming them for a custom? i think it was that same time as others mentioned with the sick cat or uni fees or smthn, and because i was dumb and new to paypal i didn't realise it had passed the time for refund requests and was trying to be patient bc they made it seem like life was getting rly bad for em, so seems like that's probably just lost forever )': glad to see everyone posting psa up everywhere though to stop others falling into it!
