thank you for the info HimeCharlotte, id recommend trying to get into contact with them _featherweather though i do have to agree with hunny seeing as BoiMilk does seem like the type of person to say something then never do it, like giving out refunds. if they truly wanted to give out refunds they would have made a post about it, not close their account which they just did a couple days ago. still, it wouldn't hurt. i might reach out to them to try and get answers, since their behavior is unacceptable

My experiences with BoiMilk:
On December 7th I ordered a commission from BoiMilk for 50$. After 5 months of radio silence I asked for an update and BoiMilk offered a refund. I was hesitant because I really liked their art so I asked if how long did they think it would take for them to finish. I got zero response and so after a few weeks did a chargeback because the buyer protection was ending soon. All the screencaps of the conversation are here.
After a while I was curious and saw that their profile had a good amount of comments asking for an update and one person asking for a refund.
Yet instead of giving responses they've just made more adopts with extras you could pay for in the form of icons.

I truly hate that it has come to this point, but I have grown frustrated with the fact that I have been deceived for almost two years now. I do not enjoy that I have to make a journal about this, since I do not enjoy speaking negatively of anyone, but alas this is my last resort.
I do not want for anyone to go to this artist and harass them for this, I merely wanted to advise others since I do not know if I am the only one who has been dealing with this, but considering I have been kind enough for as long as I have.. I do not appreciate my kindness being take granted for.
I had made orders in the past with the user boimilk.. I was given a wip of one or my order, but it ended up being scrapped and left to be redesigned. We had made contact through discord and proceeded to chat through there about what it was we should do. We came to the conclusion that it’d be best to receive my money back, but each time I went to ask for money which was over a few months I was told that it was going to be given to me soon. When I had last messaged the artist we had made a decision on requesting the money back, which was made during May 22nd. Since then I have not yet received anything from them. Before I made contact with them on discord I had left a note to them that to this day has been left unread.

At this point, I know my money isn't going to be refunded. Sending an e-mail isn't going to do much of anything. She's just going around in circles at this point. Last time I had asked for the money I gave her, she told me that she was in the process of moving and getting a new job. I don't trust anything that she says when it comes to trying to return money to others. I also agree that she should have made an announcement, rather than simply deleting her account.
Oof. At this point I've written that off for a loss. I had tried when a lof of stuff cropped up via discord and dA and nothing happened from it then :/

Unfortunately, I highly doubt anyone's gonna get their money back with them. I've dealt with them for 4 years being a FRIEND and I always got the ghosting treatment anytime I asked for my refunds. Was promised I'd get it in a few days, then radio silence forever.

Just an update: I’ve checked both their twitter and twitch channel, both are now down or removed. They are keeping track that they owe people/and watching this thread.
It’s a clear sign they’re making no attempts to give anyone a refund.

MAYBE they should just fix this problem rather than spending the next few years running from it? Seems an easy enough fix given they're just wasting their time lurking some thread and never going to be able to make it in art when they're constantly just name changing and running. Can't really build a career like this. People who they owe money aren't going to stop so prob better to just fix the problem and MOVE ON instead of doing this silly dance. 🤔 But yes I agree they are constantly checking this thread.
I left an email and was not given any response. At this point, it’s just sad to see them continuing to do this and it will more than likely keep happening if they are not truly stopped.
H0SHIIK0 wow im honestly not suprisedthey took their twitch and twitter down, especially since i commented on their commissions twitter post on why they have comms open even though they still oh a bunch of ppl comms from like years ago :/ theyre seriously trying to run and are stalking the thread instead of what Milesian said fixing the problem. im actually kind of mad right now, they have the time to keep account hopping and opening new commissions yet cant find the time to do the ones they already owe. tbh im kind of scared that they’ll make a new account and no body will know its the infamous BoiMilk. hunny im super sorry about all this i wish there was more i could do but ill try my best to keep track of BoiMilk and potential new accounts.
btw if youre reading this BoiMilk (which you probably are) there is no excuse for your behavior and youre kind of digging yourself into a hole
