re: 7/crest eyes: they were listed as a trait in the misc. section of the old trait list! I see they're gone now, so no biggie. ❤
I like the floating mirror gate! I had been originally kinda thinking of one floating around the head as a pseudo-halo (and to keep it handy), but the idea of a mirror floating at the back to shield the vulnerable rift is really appealing too! (w/bonus Okami energy lol)
In the sketches that were up when I was last posting, the spirit eyes on the wings were... detached, I think? Kinda floaty? The art now suggest they're integrated into the wings! Is that always, true, or can they float, instead? I had a mental image of them being invisible when not in use, just to kinda "pop!" open when an eis needs to Spiritually Inspect something.
Is the non-horsehair part of the tail (where the gem is kept) feathered like a bird? Or fluffy like a deer? o:

The spirit eyes can be detatched or attached, as long as they're on or near the wings C:! Its up to the designer
