Ooh, these guys look interesting! May I be added to the ping list, please? Also, I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions!

Are there only two rarities besides non-rarity? That's interesting! I usually see multiple tiers.

The reaper marks sound cool, but do they serve a purpose? There's the mirror that acts as a personal gate, and the rifts for threads, and the orb for carrying souls. What do marks do?

I understand the rifts in the hands for controlling thread, but why one on the back as well? Why is it sensitive?

I love 😍😍😍 the taur true form! There appears to be a few sets of wings on the concept sketch. Does true form usually/always have extra wing sets? Or is the sketch of true form an eis that had the multi-wing trait?

Iris shape is nontraited, but what about iris/pupil/sclera colors? Glowing?

Is there a reason they are part lynx specifically? I will admit I'm not super-familiar with like folktales and myths about lynx and what supernatural powers they may have! I just imagine being able to have a variety of cats might add more flavor, but that is just my opinion! And no knocks meant toward lynx, lynx are cool I love their big mitts. 😭💖

Crest eyes. 👀 What is that?

Would you need the rare no tail trait for a tail that was lost as an injury? What about missing fingers/toes/ears/limbs for the same reason?

So I understand eis are reapers and generally collect souls to be delivered to the Judge where it's decided whether if they go to Eden or The Ruins, but... what if an eis decided to do something else? What is stopping them? What is the punishment? Do they have varying jobs or are they all reapers? Could an eis theoretically decide to go hang out in The Ruins and protect weaker souls from cruel ones? 🤔

Aaa sorry for asking so many questions. 6_6 Inquiring minds want to know!

also to answer your questions,,,

1. Yes! I prefer simple and one rarity is free while the other is closed ^^!

2. reaper marks has been discarded! I just haven't posted the newer concept since it's still being worked on

3. the back rift is like a "core" rift essentially. It is a direct gateway to the Eisangel's power! I was also thinking about it being what gives the Eisangel the ability for flight since its located inbetween the wings (and not all eisangelia have big wings!)

4. the true form does in fact have multiple wings! This is due to Eisangelia being inspired by Seraphim, a type of angel

5. Eyes basically have no limits! As long as there's at least 2 and the iris is defined from the sclera (aka having NO iris is illegal) then it's good to go. 

6. Any big cat will work for an Eisangel ! They just have a direct connection to lynxes as lynxes are seen to have supernatural eyesight to people or stuff of that sort. I've always associated them with good eyesight! It represent the eisangel's ability to look past the mortal realm and directly into the spirit realm, which normal beings cannot do. 

7. I'm a bit confused on the crest question :o The crest is the hardened skin located on the forehead and neck. 

8. Missing limbs will always be allowed! This includes eyes, arms, and legs. Wings are a bit different as they're traited, same w/ tail! So yes for a missing tail the trait would be required, but arms legs fingers etc will ALWAYS be allowed regardless of rarity! Prosthetics will always be allowed too C:

9. Eden is a very large dimension and, though most buildings are related to the collection of souls and work, it has it's fair share of enjoyable places too! An Eisangel will ALWAYS be required to work as a Reaper, at least as their main job. (though... rumor has it there's a faction dedicated to ex-reapers.) Eisangelia get days off from reaping, just like any job! They can do whatever they please during this time. Reaper's existance are common knowledge so there's no worry about being found out or anything. Many reapers will have "side jobs".

While they're all considered reapers, some jobs are infact different! The mascot NPC, Grim, works in a department called the Fate Department. They focus on making sure things go as planned (aka someone doesn't evade death or stuff as it's common for people to try to hide from Reapers!). There's the collectors, reapers who directly collect souls. There's those who's job is the store information on souls, as a soul's entire life must be documented for trial purposes. 

Avoiding their reaper work is a severe crime in Eden and the main punishment is being locked away unless they go back to their job. That's why rogue Reapers are very undercover!

Also, the Ruins is blocked off to any reaper or spirit. No one can enter and no one can exit. This is because the Ruins is dedicated to evil or corrupt souls. it'd be bad if a breach happened and they managed to escape.

Here's a few more fun facts!

- Eisangelia CAN have relationships, but it's incredibly discouraged if it's with a mortal. 

- Public opinions of Eisangelia vary. Many mortals think they are extremely important to the balance of life, and others despise them for taking souls (though these are mostly people who cannot accept death)

- Eisangelia can live very very long, up to thousands of years. They're very hard to kill but it's possible! (typically only by severely damaging the back rift)

- Rogue Eisangelia tend to perform a spell that permanently closes their spirit eyes, which means they will no longer be able to see the remaining time of a mortal.
