I'm seeing a lot of art games that bar colourless art on the grounds that it is low effort! As someone who loves black and white art, I can't help but take some onus with this fact. So, I decided to make an art game that celebrates the qualities of Black and White art!
No colour does not mean low effort:
Examples of acceptable HQ art
1) Line art with clean up: (Not a sketch! Styles may differ but there should be at LEAST a second pass)
2) Inked works: line art with clean up, areas filled with black
3) Hatched/toned works: Cleaned up lines with screen tones or hatching to add texture or volume
4) Anything else of similar effort: Clean up does not have to mean immaculate lines/perfect lines! Just that it has a consistent quality. Feel free to experiment with your style
Art Specific Rules
- Use black and white to render (Greys allowed).
- Art work should be at least half body.
- Any traditional media MUST be scanned and clean. Photographs of the image and lined paper are not allowed.
Thread Rules
1) Ping to claim the person above you. Edit your post and include your image as proof of delivery (and to show your hard work to other people!)
2) Include in your claim at least 2 characters for the next person to choose from to draw.
3) Please wait at least 3 posts before you make another claim. Do NOT claim a second time if you have not delivered on your previous claim. Do NOT delete your claim to avoid making a delivery and to receive free art.
4) Finish within 3 weeks of your claim. If not delivered on time the person claimed is free to DM for reminders.
Extra) Please thank your artist. It's common courtesy as they worked hard to draw for you! Please PM, comment on their user profile, add an edit to your original thread post etc (please do NOT create a new post on this thread to thank them! Claims and bumps only to keep this thread clean and functional. Thank you).
